OWEN WILSON'S FIRST SON WITH EX JADE DUELL

Owen Wilson welcomed his first son Robert Ford Wilson with his girlfriend, Jade Duell, on January 14, in Hawaii. The choice of name for the actor's first son caused a bit of chatter among fans because it reminded them of the famous American outlaw who killed Jesse James in 1882.

A month after his birth, the new parents took their newborn on Valentine's day dinner date in Los Angeles with their family friend Woody Harrelson.

A year into their relationship and five months after the birth of their child, Owen and Jade called it quits. The actor reportedly broke the relationship because he was not ready to commit. Afterward, Jade, who is an Air Marshall, moved back to New York with their newborn to be closer to her family.

Despite their split, Owen continued to be a doting father to his son as he was seen playing with him at a park in Santa Monica while his ex-girlfriend Jade watched them. The actor also took time to take multiple pictures of his son as the little boy glided down the slides.

OWEN'S SECOND CHILD WITH A WOMAN HE NEVER WANTED A RELATIONSHIP WITH

Two years after the birth of his first son, it was announced that the actor was expecting his second child with his trainer Caroline Lindqvist. Caroline at the time was still married to her plastic surgeon husband, but the pair were in the process of getting a divorce.

Wilson had hired Caroline to be his trainer a couple of years back, and the pair were not in a relationship when she became pregnant for him. According to a source:

"Owen is very involved with the pregnancy. He isn't in a relationship with Caroline, nor do they plan to be in one, but he is very supportive of everything. They see each other and often talk about what they want for the child."

Caroline was also happy that the actor was helping out any way he could and has been very supportive ever since the news broke. The actor accompanied her to doctor's appointments and ensured she had everything she needed. The two also planned to celebrate a baby shower together.

Finally, on January 30, 2014, Owen became a father for the second time after Caroline gave birth to their baby boy Finn Lindqvist Wilson at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Even though they were not together at the time, the actor was listed as the father on the birth certificate.

RARE UPDATE ABOUT WILSON'S SONS AND CO-PARENTING WITH HIS EX

Speaking on fatherhood, Owen revealed he had never been the type to want to hold a baby because they are so fragile, but he got a lot more confident when he knew the baby was his.

The actor also disclosed that he had noticed that babies look a lot like other babies compared to their parents. Now that his kids are a bit older, Owen thinks he is better at dealing with them, especially when they become teenagers, and try to gang up on him because they are not scared to challenge him.

The "Loki" star also explained that he is not an easy-going father like his parents were, but he has been trying to be less strict with his kids.

Owen revealed his kids do not find him funny; they are, however, heavily interested in his acting career because it sometimes gives them something to brag about in school, and it enamored Owen with their friends.

Also, when he reads them stories, the kids sometimes encourage him to do something more with it. According to Owen's brother Luke, Robert and Finn are big fans of their father and uncle's projects.

He explained that his nephews were not impressed with his role as a sidekick called Stripe on the CW hit series "Stargirl." Since their father also starred in the Marvel series "Loki," the kids would often ask during dinner if they could watch episodes of both shows.

In an attempt to be closer to his kids, Owen lives very close to both Caroline and Jade, and the former couples get along as the actor raises them on "a single-dad schedule."

A FORGOTTEN DAUGHTER

While Owen has been fulfilling his role as a father to his sons, the actor has neglected his only daughter Lyla who he shares with ex-girlfriend Varunie Vongsvirates.

The pair had dated for five years before Varunie gave birth to their daughter on October 9, 2018. Afterward, the actor underwent a paternity test which proved he was the father.

Varuna explained that Owen has never met Lyla and even though he helps financially, being physically present and supportive is the most important thing. She also pleaded with him and said:

"You should see your daughter. She's incredible, and you're really missing out. She looks just like you."

She explained that their daughter needs a father figure, and it is ironic that he gets to play father characters in his movies while neglecting his daughter.

The actor reportedly wants no part of his daughter's life and even checked the no visitation box in court, meaning he does not want to visit or enjoy any custody pertaining to Lyla.
