She shared a picture taken by Andrea McClain, which captured a tiny pink teacup containing dark coffee sitting on a pink saucer surrounded by long-stemmed pink flowers overshadowed by a dark background.

In her caption, she revealed how hard she had been working to lose enough weight to go on her Maui trip, then declared that it was all for nothing because she gained it back.

It made her wonder what was happening, and then she wrote that her "husband" told her that she was "food pregnant," which made her get a pregnancy test that revealed that she was merely having a baby.

Four days later, her baby bump swelled some more, making her wonder if it was twins she was having. Spears stated that if it was twins, she "just might lose it" because she can recall how it felt to get pregnant before and endure perinatal depression.

The talented singer concluded her lengthy caption by declaring that she would be practicing yoga this time to combat that state of mind.

Spears' Instagram post had many people congratulating her, but news of a baby on the way was not enough to distract her ever-observant from the mention of a husband in the caption.

Indeed, it triggered speculations on her marital status, with many wondering if she and her fiance Sam Asghari may have tied the knot secretly.

Nobody knows for sure, and her calling Asghari her husband is not exactly a new thing; just last month, she shared an Instagram post, and in her caption, she had referred to him as her husband as well, and fans had not failed to notice it.

It left them baffled because earlier that same day, in a post she shared celebrating his birthday, Spears called him her fiance and declared that she wanted to start a family with him.

The two went their separate ways in July 2007.
