Who Is Amber Heard's Sister Whitney?
Amber Heard's sister, Whitney Henriquez, testified against Johnny Depp in the former couple's defamation trial. Here is a closer look at the "Aquaman" star's sister.
When Amber Heard's sister, Whitney Henriquez, was put on the stand and questioned about her relationship with Johnny Depp, she admitted that they were pretty close and acted like siblings at some point.
She had suspicions that Depp was physically hitting Heard behind closed doors but also joked with him about the abuse.

"I was not literally encouraging him to hit her," she said while admitting to "regrettably" joking about it. According to Henriquez, she did not have a full grasp of the situation yet at that time.
WHO IS AMBER HEARD'S SISTER WHITNEY?
Unlike her sister, Henriquez has a career away from the spotlight in the hotel industry. Before the pandemic struck, she worked in hotels under the events and food and beverage management groups. She is also a mother of two with her husband, Gavin Henriquez.
Vasquez was recently the talk of the town after leading the cross-examination with Heard and grilling the actress while on the stand.

Despite having her own life, Henriquez still maintained her close relationship with Heard; the "Aquaman" star also once called her "best friend" and "partner in crime."
WHAT DID AMBER HEARD'S SISTER SAY DURING THE TRIAL?
Naturally, Henriquez's testimony was favorable to her sister. During the trial, she claimed to have witnessed Heard and Depp argue. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor then allegedly hit Henriquez in the back, prompting Heard to smack him.
However, Depp told a different story of the same incident, claiming that Henriquez stepped between him and Heard to stop the actress from hitting Depp.

Henriquez also testified that Depp had a pattern of being abusive when intoxicated by drugs or alcohol, a claim her sister initially made. Henriquez also said that Depp held their small dog out of a moving vehicle's window on one occasion.
JOHNNY DEPP'S REACTION TO WHITNEY'S WORDS AT THE TRIAL
When Henriquez took the stand, Depp looked her straight in the eye in a striking move. It was quite the opposite of how he reacted towards Heard, whom he refused to look at during the trial.
During the trial, Depp's lawyer, Camille Vasquez, asked Heard why her ex-husband did not look her in the eye. She then played a tape where the actor promised Heard, "You will not see my eyes again," after their divorce.

She sparked dating rumors with Depp because of their close relationship in court but was confirmed to only have a professional relationship with him. A source said that the whole legal team had grown close to their client amidst the defamation case.
