A TIMELINE OF PRATT AND SCHWARZENEGGER'S RELATIONSHIP
June 2018 was the first time Chris and Katherine sparked dating rumors after photos of the lovebirds looking cozy while having a picnic at a Santa Barbara Park went viral.
The following month, the couple attended a church service with Jack, Chris's son from his relationship with Hollywood star Anna Faris (more on Jack and Faris later).

Between August and November 2018, Chris had dinner with Katherine's famous family members, including her mother, Maria Shriver, brother Patrick, and father, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Saying that Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger's family immediately got along would be an understatement. This is mainly because the "Jurassic World" star and Katherine spent Thanksgiving 2018 with the Schwarzenegger/Shriver clan.
Arnold later joked that he knew he wanted Chris to be his son-in-law after watching him make "his moves" in the gym. The "Terminator" actor was significantly surprised by Chris's incline press.
Katherine and Chris announced their engagement in January 2019 and married that June at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. The wedding was very intimate and had around 60 guests.
Chris spent most of the time Katherine was pregnant in London filming "Jurassic World."
HOW DID CHRIS PRATT AND KATHERINE SCHWARZENEGGER MEET?
As soon as Chris and Katherine made their relationship official, people had questions about their first meeting. Sources claimed that Maria Shriver introduced the couple, and Chris later elaborated:
"We met at church! There's a lot of kismet… a lot of connections, but that is where we met."
The timing could not have been better as they met months after Chris and "Scary Movie" star Anna Faris parted ways. Chris and Faris married in July 2009, announced their separation in August 2017, and officially divorced in October 2018.
WHO ARE CHRIS PRATT'S CHILDREN?
During Chris and Faris's time together, they welcomed their son Jack, born nine weeks premature in August 2012. The ex-couple put their differences aside and focused on raising Jack in a healthy environment.
The boy also gets along great with his stepmom, Katherine. Speaking of Katherine, she and Chris welcomed their first child together, Lyla Maria, in August 2020.
Chris spent most of the time Katherine was pregnant in London filming "Jurassic World," so he could only provide online support. Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger's youngest daughter, Eloise Christina, made the blended family even larger.
They have kept most details of their kids under wraps, but Chris once admitted he couldn't wait to see the "nuanced differences" in Lyla the older she gets. Congratulations are in order!
