Jessica Simpson’s Weight Loss - Her Slimming Down Journey after Gaining 100 Pounds

Jessica Simpson is one of Hollywood's most beautiful, inspiring, and ageless actresses. Fans around the world admire the 41-year-old star's enviable physique even after having three children.


On May 25, 2022, Simpson uploaded a new delightful photo of herself on Instagram, showing off her fit body in a black-and-white-printed one-piece swimsuit from her summer collection. She topped her swimsuit with a jean jacket.

The fashion designer and businesswoman completed her look with stylish blue snakeskin "Janya" strappy heels, which came from her collection as well. With her overall sultry appeal, one could not help but ask, how does she look so great?

After giving birth to her youngest child, Simpson managed to lose 100 pounds for the third time. In a "The Real Daytime" interview, she admitted that it took her three years to shape up. The "Dukes of Hazzard" star said:

"I call it determined patience. I believe in setting small goals for yourself…."

The small goals, according to Simpson, helped her achieve the main goal. She expressed how proud she was of herself for exerting great effort even when she thought her plan was impossible to achieve.


Being able to wear a bikini was never Simpson's main goal. She shared how she once brought several bathing suits with her for a trip without trying on a two-piece.

Instead of one-piece swimwear, though, the "That '70s Show" actress later decided to wear a bikini. She got emotional after finding out that she could still fit into the two-piece.


On how Simpson bounced back to her fit physique, celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak revealed that the movie actress is well-disciplined about her food consumption. Pasternak said:

"She would eat one whole egg and three egg whites for breakfast, scrambled with a bowl of blackberries. For lunch she would have a salad with grilled chicken and grilled fish with salad and vegetables for dinner.

The fitness trainer noted that the "These Boots are Made for Walking" hitmaker prefers healthy snacks such as almonds and sometimes green beans with Parmesan cheese.


Pasternak added that Simpson would mix cauliflower with her meals, as it is one of the healthiest vegetables available. The "A Public Affair" singer also follows a low-sugar diet.

Being active has been beneficial for her as well. According to the Hollywood star's trainer, Simpson did a lot of physical activities that helped her shed weight, including walking exercises.



Jessica is blessed with three beautiful children. The actress and her husband, Eric Johnson, welcomed their first child together, daughter Maxwell, on May 1, 2012.

Their second child, son Ace, came into their lives on June 30, 2013. Prior to giving birth to Ace, Jessica appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" where she expressed her excitement about being pregnant with a boy.

Jessica and Eric welcomed their third child, daughter Birdie Mae, on March 19, 2019. Recently, Jessica shared photos from Birdie Mae's third birthday party.

In her Instagram post, the proud mom expressed disbelief over her youngest child turning three and described her little daughter as "everyone's favorite person."
