Cameron Diaz walked away from her acting career to reassess her life. Immediately after she decided, the "Annie" actress revealed that she had more time for other things, including getting married and welcoming a baby.

The famous actress who started her career as a model at 16 rose to fame in her 20s after she starred beside Jim Carrey in "The Mask" even though she had no previous acting experience.

Cameron Diaz had an undeniable box office appeal but suffered a few heartbreaks along the way before she met her husband, Good Charlotte's Benji Madden, and became a first-time mother at 47.

The "Bad Teacher" actress described her life as a mother at 49 on GOOP's podcast with the company's creator and longtime friend Gwyneth Paltrow last week.

Diaz revealed that she is the oldest mom in her group of girlfriends with kids, and she does not mind. She said she is lucky to be her age, have those girlfriends, her daughter, and all the support she has had in raising her daughter.

DOES CAMERON DIAZ HAVE A CHILD?

Diaz revealed that being a 49-year-old mother to a two-year-old daughter is the best thing that has ever happened in her life. She feels that she has to help her daughter find the words to her emotions as a mother.

The actress revealed that she appreciates the moments because she worked hard to have a child even though it has been challenging. Diaz admitted that she also apologizes to her daughter when she has lost her cool.

Before becoming a mother, the actress had unsuccessfully tried IVF, supplements, and acupuncture in the hopes of conceiving. Diaz and her husband did not give up when none of it worked out.

So, when their daughter, Raddix, joined the family, Diaz said she completely captured their hearts and completed their family. While they were delighted to share the news, they also had a strong instinct to protect their baby's privacy.

The Avaline wine creator also revealed that they love watching their daughter's personality change. However, despite enjoying the joys of motherhood in her late 40s, Diaz never wanted to be a mother when she was younger.

In 2014, the "Charlie's Angels" star said it was so much more work to have children as she would have lives besides hers that she was responsible for and did not admire being a mother.

WHO IS CAMERON DIAZ'S HUSBAND?

Diaz met her husband, Madden, the guitarist for Good Charlotte, and they started dating in 2014. Their relationship was unexpected, but they swiftly established themselves as one of Hollywood's strongest couples.

Seven months later, Diaz and Madden got engaged in December 2014. The couple wasted no time as they tied the knot in early January 2015 at her home in Beverly Hills.
