What Is Trooping the Colour That Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Are Reportedly Attending?
For ages, the British monarchy has held strict traditions and celebrations, one of which Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were invited. But, the couple will not get any royal treatment upon arrival.
While couple Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be attending Trooping the Colour on Thursday, they will not appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
Instead, they will be set alongside the Queen's grandchildren, such as Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who will also be excluded from the appearance on the balcony.

This area where they will be alongside the grandchildren is in the Major General's Office, where the two can watch the Horse Guards Parade as it faces the parade grounds.
But, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are both in positive spirits, a spokesperson has reported, stating that they are waiting in great anticipation for the event.
WHAT IS TROOPING THE COLOUR?
Trooping the Colour is a celebration of the Queen or King of England's birthday, with an uncountable number of military personnel parading below Buckingham Palace in honor of the special day. This tradition is treated with importance as it has survived more than two centuries.
Once this ceremony is over, the traditional RAF and Red Arrows flypast will begin. This is when the monarch and the rest of the Royal Family will make their way to the Palace's balcony.
WHY PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN MARKLE WON'T APPEAR ON THE PALACE BALCONY?
Since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the Royal Family, they are no longer working royals, so they will not appear on the Palace balcony. A Buckingham spokesman stated:
"After careful consideration, the Queen has decided that this year's traditional Trooping the Colour balcony appearance on Thursday 2nd of June will be limited to Her Majesty and those members of the Royal Family who are currently undertaking official public duties on behalf of the Queen."
Therefore, a working royal must be part of the Royal Family and is someone who represents the monarch at important events, also taking on responsibilities during these engagements.
These responsibilities vary from hosting dinners and events related to the state, appearing at parliamentary functions, going on global tours, and much more.

WHY PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN MARKLE ARE NOT WORKING ROYALS ANYMORE?
In 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they would be resigning as senior members of the Royal Family. At the time, they stated their reason for this was to become more independent financially.
While some supported them and thought it a progressive move, others criticized them. The critics stated that the couple is already financially independent. So, their move is not as honorable as it appears.
Cultural critic Brian Moylan pointed out that they had an estimated combined net worth of $30 million. Until this day, and especially since their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, these two remain controversial public figures.
