On June 13, 2022, Sophia Bush and Grant Hughes tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after being engaged for almost a year.

It is Bush's second marriage as she married her "One Tree Hill" co-star Chad Michael Murray in 2005 and divorced him in 2006. Here's everything you need to know about Bush and Hughes' relationship.

WHEN DID SOPHIA BUSH AND GRANT HUGHES GET ENGAGED?

Hughes and Bush sparked dating rumors in May 2020 after they walked through Malibu together holding hands. However, they attracted everyone's attention on August 10, 2021, when they announced their engagement on social media.

The photo showed the couple on a boat in Lake Cuomo, Italy. Bush wore a sleeveless brown dress while Hughes wore light grey pants and a dark blue blazer. Scroll down to see the picture.

In the image, Hughes appeared to be kneeling and popping the question, and Bush said yes. The "Good Sam" actress wrote in the caption that being "your favorite person's favorite person" was the best feeling.

She also thanked the boat company that helped Hughes prepare the surprise. On his social media post, Hughes wrote that Bush was his "forever favorite" and was excited to live life with her.

Bush might be the most famous in the relationship, but Hughes is just as successful and hardworking. In 2013, he founded FocusMotion Health, a Santa Monica-based organization focused on creating data-driving orthopedic recovery solutions for surgery patients.

Besides serving as the organization's Chief Strategy Officer, Hughes helped create the Venice Book Club in September 2017. Once a month, club members get together to read and talk about literature while drinking wine.

While Bush and Hughes look beautiful together, they needed ten years to give love a try. Bush explained that her "One Tree Hill" co-stars Joy Lenz and Hilarie Burton, who also co-host her "Drama queens" podcast, helped her change her outlook on life and love.

Lenz and Burton made Bush understand that she kept getting romantically involved with people she thought she could help. Eventually, Bush realized that fixing and mothering someone was not her responsibility as a partner.

Although Bush described herself as a romantic who often falls in love with potential, she learned that her job as a partner was not to make her better half achieve his potential but support them in their journey.

After shifting her approach on dates, Bush realized what her friends already knew: she and Hughes had something special. The rest is history. What a lovely couple!
