Boston Russell Is Kurt Russell's Son from His Marriage to Season Hubley

Boston Russell comes from a famous family with prolific stars who have earned their stripes in the entertainment industry. He, on the other hand, chose a different career path.

Boston Russell's parents are both actors. They have since split, and his father has been in a long-term relationship with a renowned film star who also has famous kids – while his mother remarried and later divorced.

Boston is his parents' only child and has a half-sibling and two stepsiblings. He has studied at two universities and, while his family members pursued showbiz careers, has ventured into a different path.

Boston Russell Is the Son of Kurt Russell and Season Hubley

Boston's parents are actor Kurt Russell and retired actress Season Hubley. While Kurt started his acting career as a child star on the Western TV series "The Travels of Jaime McPheeters," Season is best known for her roles in films, such as "Hardcore" (1979) "Escape from New York," (1981), and "Vice Squad" (1982).

Kurt and Season tied the knot in March 1979 and welcomed their son together in February 1980. However, two years later, the couple divorced in May 1983.

Since the duo parted ways, Boston gained a new family when his famous father began a relationship with Academy Award-winner Goldie Hawn.

The actress, who has two older kids, actors Oliver and Kate Hudson, from her previous marriage with musician Bill Hudson, has embraced Boston's presence in her life.

In her biography, "A Lotus Grows In The Mud," the renowned star, who also has a son named Wyatt Russell with Kurt (his youngest), referred to Boston as her son or stepson.

Goldie said Kurt, with whom she has been romantically involved for over four decades, was God sent into her life and her then-young kids, Oliver and Kate. He opened his heart to her and her son and daughter, lighting up their lives.

The famed Golden Globe Award winner further divulged that Kurt's son Boston "brought even more joy to our family, adding petal to our flower."

What Does Boston Russell Do for a Living?

Boston did not pursue an acting career like his parents. The Los Angeles, California native appeared in an episode on "60 Minutes" (1968) and worked on "Executive Decision" (1996) as a production assistant.

Boston has since chosen a different path. According to his Facebook page, he now works at Exodus Recovery Psychiatric Health Facility and previously worked at Earthstream Media.

The 43-year-old studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and Georgetown University. Moreover, his stepmother revealed in her autobiography, published in 2005, that he was practicing Buddhism and was at a Buddhist school in his final year at university at the time.

On his Facebook account, he shared pictures of himself in October 2008 during his visit to Tibet, an autonomous region in China, with the residents there. One of Boston's followers asked him in the comments section when he had gone there, what he thought of the place, and if he had visited Lhasa, the capital city.
