English actor and "Daredevil" star Charlie Cox married his wife Samantha Thomas in 2018. She is a producer with several producing credits to her name, including some popular Netflix series.

Charlie Cox almost did not take the path into acting because when he attended a prep school as a boy, he never got a lead role in dramas. They continually cast the actor in the chorus because he could not sing, and the students' parents loved musicals.

However, the award-winning actor did not let that setback deter him as he left Britain in the mid-1990s to chase a career in film. In 2007, he had his breakout role when he starred as Tristan Thorn in "Stardust."

In 2019, she joined Bron Studios, a Canadian motion picture company, as an Executive Vice President. Thomas's producing credits also include "Ugly Betty," "Once Upon a Time," "Lost," and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Thomas and Cox have been married since September 2018 and have worked together even before marriage. Besides working together on "Daredevil," they also worked together on the Irish crime drama series "Kin."

Cox's wife was instrumental in his casting as the menacing criminal, Michael Kinsella. Their working together on this series ensured they spent time as a family with their children when the strict lockdown measures were in place.

The actor was excited he could go to work, be on location, and have his whole family there. About working with his wife, he said:

"When I worked with her before, she didn’t have the same amount of responsibility she has now, and I was amazed at what she was able to achieve with the rest of the team. It was a really wonderful experience."
