Kate Middleton and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, both have big shoes to fill the future. The royal women are in line to becoming queens of England since Prince William and Prince Charles are both destined to become King. Camilla and Middleton have united and supported each other through the challenges of being royal wives.

The Duchess of Cornwall and the Duchess of Cambridge have become the ultimate royal girl power duo. Camilla has shown the strong bond she shares with her stepdaughter-in-law by trusting her with the role of photographing her for her Country Life Magazine Cover.

Camilla stepped into the role of being a royal wife earlier than Middelton; therefore, she had an important piece of advice for her future stepdaughter-in-law on how to lead a sustainable royal marriage.

Camilla reportedly reached out to Middleton before she married Prince William. According to royal expert and biographer Robert Lacey, the Duchess of Cambridge had trouble following her stepmother-in-law's advice. Lacey, in his book, "Battle of Brothers "writes:

"Camilla had confided to Kate the secret of hanging on to a busy prince: fit your timetable - well, basically your whole life - around his."

What seemed like the ultimate advice to Camilla sounded like an impossible task to Middleton. Lacey claimed that it was unfeasible for The Duchess of Cambridge to stick to Prince Charles' wife's tip because it was practically impossible to fit into William's schedule.

However, Prince William and his wife are still going strong and doing everything they can to lead a life that is as normal as possible. The royal couple will be moving into their new four-bedroomed cottage, perfect for their family of five, in the summer.

THE GIFT THAT SHOWS THEIR CONNECTION

There is no doubt that royal women probably possess jewelry with unimaginable price tags, but the Duchess of Cornwall gifted Middleton with a very sentimental gold bracelet for her wedding in 2011. The bracelet is an embodiment of the special bond the two women share.

The gold charm bracelet is connected to a disc engraved with their monograms, 'C' for Catherine and a coronet, and on the other, a 'C' for Camilla and a crown. The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted wearing the bracelet at Wimbledon two months after her wedding, but Middleton has worn it serval times since then.

Camilla and Middleton's love can also be seen in how they interact with each other at public events. In March of 2022, the royal women had a sweet moment of affection at the Common Wealth's Day Service.

What seemed like the ultimate advice to Camilla sounded like an impossible task to Middleton.

The Duchess of Cornwall and the Duchess of Cambridge were seen giving each other a kiss on the cheek. They warmly chatted for a bit before walking down the Westminster Abbey aisle.

Even though the affection performed by Middleton towards her stepmother-in-law can be seen as an embracement of how close they are, royal expert Judi James described this as "a huge act of inconvenience." James explained:

“She also performed a huge ‘act of inconvenience’ to show respect, bending her knees to lower herself right down to plant her kiss on Camilla’s cheeks"

Judi also said the touch of Camilla's arm by Middleton was an add-on to their closeness and their undeniable connection, even if it was a slight against royal protocols.

Camilla and Middleton have been appearing at several royal engagements together and with their husbands in the past year. In 2021 the royal wives and their spouses attended the premiere of the James Bond film "No Time to Die Together."

Camilla and Middleton have also traveled with Her royal majesty. They visited a fun engagement in Cornwall, and the Duchess of Cornwall stood alongside The Queen to help her cut the cake with a ceremonial sword.

Since the royal wives are both in line to become the queens of England, they have had to take on the role of representing Queen Elizabeth at events. One of those instances was when Camilla and Middleton went to Remembrance Sunday last year during the service at the Cenotaph.

Her Royal Highness suddenly canceled her attendance at the service due to a sprained back. So, when Camilla and her stepdaughter-in-law took position on the foreign balcony, Middleton was the one that took center stage with Camilla by her side.

The royal wives always want to present a united front without outshining one another. The recent photo shoot of the Duchess of Cambridge's 40th birthday has had many envision her as the young and beautiful future Queen.

Although Middleton might receive much attention, royal expert Ingrid Seward said Middleton knows not to step on Camilla's toes. Seward added:

"Prince Charles is not even King yet and the Royals are very careful about not upstaging each other. Kate will be keen not to upstage Camilla.”… She is aware of hierarchy and that it is Camilla’s turn."

Vanity Fair's Katie Nicholl spoke on GB News, emphasizing that Middleton and Camilla are "very, very close." Nicholl also recalled that people had thought the Cambridge and the Sussex family would be the royal "fab four." However, since Megixt, Camilla and Middelton have formed the new "fab four."
