Harry's upcoming memoir keeps the family relationship on edge, as trust between the brothers remains questionable.
When Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, opened up about her experiences in the Royal Family during the bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, her and Prince Harry's once good relationship with other royals were jeopardized.
For royal fans, it was heartbreaking to see the Duke of Sussex and his brother, Prince William, who were once best buds, become estranged.

For the next couple of months, things did not get better between the brothers as they continued to drift apart. Many hoped to see Harry and William reunited, but it seemed far-fetched.
However, after more than two years of a steaming feud, the Prince of Wales finally made a move to reach out to his brother and sister-in-law.
Reports revealed that following Queen Elizabeth's death on September 8, 2022, William invited Harry and Markle for a walkabout outside Windsor castle.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex accepted the invitation, and for the first time in a long while, the couple put up a united front with William and his wife, Kate Middleton.
The foursome was caught on camera greeting mourners and inspecting flowers at Windsor Castle. It was a beautiful sight, which made the public believe that the rift between the two families had finally ended.

However, nearly a month after the foursome's reunion, Harry and Markle's bombshell interview is believed to be causing a problem between the royals.
According to Royal Expert Charlie Rae, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex "crossed the line" when they made the shocking revelations, eventually starting a problem that will never disappear.

Middleton and William are reportedly bent on sending a strong message to Harry and Markle that there will be consequences for the pain they caused the Royal Family members.
The Prince and Princess of Wales Allegedly Want An Apology From the Sussexes
The Prince and Princess of Wales cannot proceed with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex without apologizing. Harry and Markle had caused jaws to drop after they levied various accusations against the Royal Family, including claiming that a senior royal questioned the color of Archie's skin.
In the press release, Penguin Random House explained that Harry's memoir would contain the experiences, losses, adventures, and life lessons that helped shape him.

Markle also claimed that Middleton made her cry during an altercation in the build-up to her 2018 wedding to Harry. A report from The Telegraph has revealed that the Prince of Wales is still angry about how he and his wife have been treated since the Megxit.
Reportedly, William and his wife want a form of acknowledgment and apology from Harry and Markle for the hurt they caused with the tell-all interview.

According to a source close to William and Middleton, the Prince and Princess of Wales feel that Winfrey crossed a line, and someone needs to acknowledge the reason behind it and the hurt it caused. The source also noted:
"They feel they've had to be steely to send a message that you cannot just say this hugely upsetting stuff without there being consequences."
In the light of the source's claims, the public can only hope that the Prince and Princess of Wales will get what they allegedly want and permanently end the feud, which was reportedly one of Queen Elizabeth's last wishes.

According to Historian Robert Hardman, the late monarch always believed that strained relationships in the Royal Family could always be fixed.
Her Majesty's relationship with Harry until her demise was proof. Despite her grandson's allegations against the Royal Family, Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Sussex maintained their solid bond. According to an insider, the Queen knew conflicts would always arise and never held grudges.

She always wanted to see her family happy. As a result, the source claimed that one of Queen Elizabeth's dying wishes was for Harry to reconcile with the rest of the Royal Family members, especially his father and brother.
However, it seems like the late monarch's wish is seemingly out of the question, as the Duke of Sussex's memoir is in the works and will be published soon.
Details of Harry's Highly Anticipated Upcoming Memoir
In July 2021, six months after he stepped back from his duties as a senior royal, Harry made the headlines again after it was announced that he would be publishing his memoir sometime in 2022.

Following the announcement, royal insiders began speculating what the content of the highly anticipated book would be. Thanks to the publishing house, Penguin Random House, the public got a glimpse of what the book would contain.

The publishing house's revelation heightened the anticipation, but fans may have to wait a little longer, as the book release has reportedly been postponed to 2023, following Queen Elizabeth's death.
While the date draws nearer, many insiders have revealed that Harry's decision to write a memoir will not help his relationship with William, as he cannot be trusted to keep their conversations a secret. According to an insider:
"It's really hard to spend time with someone, or even to speak openly when you know they're writing a book about you and giving interviews. The trust is gone right now."

Despite what many insiders believe, there is still hope for reconciliation between the brothers. During an interview with Winfrey, The Duke of Sussex admitted to Winfrey that he and William were walking different paths, adding:
"The relationship is space…at the moment."
However, Harry hoped that someday, reconciliation would be on the horizon because, according to him, "time heals all things, hopefully." But unfortunately, with everything that has happened recently, fans can only sit back and watch what the coming months will offer.
