Teen Girl Puts Her Newborn Baby up for Adoption, 18 Years Later They Accidentally Meet – Story of the Day

"Sweetheart, maybe you haven't got the full picture yet. Your mother could've struggled so much and been forced to give you up. Maybe she wanted you to have a better future...you may never know," said Paige when Amelia once again started cursing her mother.

"I disagree. I never asked for this, and it was her stupid mistake to become pregnant. I am not a symbol of her stupidity, and I'm not garbage she could just discard. I was her daughter...her flesh and blood. I think being born to her is the worst that could've happened to me," fumed Amelia.

Paige was hurt beyond words could express. Tears rushed into her eyes as she buried her face in her palms and began to cry inconsolably. Amelia was bewildered and did not understand why Paige burst into tears after listening to her story.

"Please, darling...It's enough. I never thought you were garbage. I was forced to leave you...not that I didn't love or need you," sobbed Paige, alarming Amelia.

"Wh-what do you mean? Who are you?"

"I'm your mother—the mother who abandoned you 18 years ago," exclaimed Paige.

Amelia turned red with fury. She grabbed her jacket and got up to leave, only to be stopped by her mother.

"Please, honey. You don't know everything. Please give me just one chance to explain everything," begged Paige.

"But why didn't you fight to keep me instead? Was your future so much more important than your baby?" retorted Amelia.

"I sacrificed my motherhood for both our futures. I moved on and married another man. But till now, I chose not to have another child. Because I still love you! My husband Ronald knows every bit of my dark past, and he supports my decision. Please forgive me for leaving you, darling. I was forced to do that. I had no choice."

Amelia's anger melted into tears as soon as she heard this. She realized she had wrongly perceived her mother all these years and dropped to her knee in tears.

"I'm sorry! I didn't know that you...But I cannot leave the mother who raised me for you. I cannot forgive you so easily, but I will because you went through so much already," she stammered.
