Dayna and Colby Childress live with their five babies, of which four are quadruplets. The loving parents from Springboro, Ohio, had never imagined they would have so many babies.

The mother revealed they were only trying for one baby, but fate's plans surprised them. Their son instantly got four siblings instead of one.

The Loving Couple

People knew Dayna and Colby as high school sweethearts. Their love story began when Dayna's family moved into a new neighborhood and lived in a house next to Colby's.

Colby was Dayna's junior, but the boy never missed a chance to catch Dayna's attention. He would come out of his classroom every time Dayna would leave hers. He probably fell in love with her at first sight. Dayna recalled:

"Then he asked me to sit with him on the bus, and the rest is history."

Their First Baby

Eight years later, in 2015, the couple welcomed their first baby boy into this world and named him Lincoln. Dayna shared she didn't have to struggle to conceive Lincoln, but what happened next was something she wasn't expecting.

She couldn't understand why her pregnancies would end up in miscarriages.

When their little one turned nine months old, the couple decided to have another baby because they didn't want their children to have a significant age gap. However, they were unaware of the struggles waiting for them.

Trying For More

After seven months of trying, Dayna finally got the news she had eagerly awaited. Her test results showed she was pregnant. However, six weeks later, her nausea suddenly vanished and she learned she had miscarried. She admitted:

"I was devastated and couldn't accept it."

"We battled unexplained secondary infertility and unexplained recurrent miscarriages for two and a half years," the mother also revealed. She couldn't understand why her pregnancies would end up in miscarriages because the doctors told her there was nothing wrong with her reports.

Consulting a Specialist

After visiting multiple doctors, the heartbroken mother consulted a specialist, hoping for an explanation for her infertility. The specialist ran blood tests on her and concluded that everything was fine.

While Dayna felt relieved her bloodwork didn't point toward any serious health issues, she was worried about how the doctor would solve her issue if they couldn't find any problem.

After a year of infertility treatments, Dayna conceived again. Unfortunately, she miscarried for the third time. This time, Dayna said:

"My third loss had me thinking I would never carry to term again."

Not Giving Up

After three miscarriages, Dayna continued taking her fertility medicines, but she didn't have high hopes. Fortunately, two months later, she conceived again.

This time, there was a surprise waiting for her. When she went for a prenatal scan, she saw four sacs, which meant she could have quadruplets. Dayna shared:

"The first ultrasound showed four sacs, but we could only see two babies with beating hearts, so I thought it would only be twins at the most."

Welcoming Quadruplets

After years of enduring heartbreaks, Dayna finally gave birth to four beautiful babies. After several miscarriages, she never thought she would give birth to four babies at once.

Dayna looked after her five children with her partner, and each day was nothing short of an adventure. She documented her journey on TikTok and Instagram, delighting followers with photos and videos of her babies.

Dayna chose to become a stay-at-home mom so she could look after her children. Her TikTok followers often wondered where she got the strength to look after four babies.

Chaotic Life

The full-time mother shared how she managed to look after her chaotic household. She revealed that Colby makes coffee for her while she prepares breakfast for their children. Lincoln would help wake his siblings before Dayna changes their diapers and feeds them.

"There's usually a tantrum, and the house is destroyed," Dayna explained what happens later in the day. Then she gets some me-time when her babies take a nap. She added:

"I order dinner out because I'm too tired."

Christmas Trip

In December 2021, Dayna took her then-two-year-old quadruplets to see Santa, but it wasn't easy for her to keep her children calm. They didn't want to stand in line to get hot chocolate or sit in the car for too long.

Despite having a tough time with her children outdoors, Dayna said she would continue taking them for trips, so they have memorable pictures to look at when they grow older. She said:

"We'll have all the little stories to tell them of their childhood."

Dayna's inspiring story teaches us that there's always light at the end of the tunnel. Despite experiencing multiple failed pregnancies, the woman didn't lose hope and gave birth to four babies instead of one.
