He concluded his message by declaring his love and stating, "Thank you for saying yes!" The wedding anniversary wasn't the only milestone the couple reached and celebrated, as on October 18, 2022, the pop singer paid tribute to their second engagement anniversary.
Her Instagram post included a photo of her and Blake kissing while she showed off her engagement ring. In September 2022, Gwen confessed to Today that life had been outstanding since she met her husband.
The "Hollaback Girl" songstress said they were having "so much fun" and described him as her "bestie." Blake revealed that they'd been together for seven years, but the relationship still seemed new to him, like he was stuck in the "nervous phase."
However, according to Gwen, her relationship with her husband wasn't just due to their own doing but through a higher power. The star explained how her faith helped lead them to each other.
How Did God Help Gwen and Blake?
During her November 2022 "The Drew Barrymore Show" appearance, Gwen said, "God just put us together" when she and Blake ended up dating. She described how they ended up together as a miracle, as she hadn't hoped to find love again.
The singer explained how after her divorce from her father's children, Gavin Rossdale, she'd decided that she'd spend her days waking up daily to have coffee, take care of her offspring, and go to bed. Gwen had resigned herself to never kissing anyone else again, adding:
"I thought my life was over."
Then Blake rocked up and changed it all! Drew Barrymore felt the couple's love story gave others hope for their own lives, and the songstress agreed and noted how finding a best friend and someone who shared the same morals was the ultimate dream.
Gwen revealed how they thought the same about things but was still different. The couple, who started dating in 2015, share the songstress's three sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, who were 15, 13, and 8 in February 2022.

In a previous interview, Blake admitted that he didn't just marry Gwen but had married "into a family" because she had three sons. The county musician shared that his wife was initially skeptical that they had the power to stay together because her children were in the picture.
"The Voice" judge said when they started seeing each other Gwen thought it would be a momentary thing because of the boys. However, Blakes's ranch was now "like Disneyland" for his stepsons!
He'd taught them how to fish, but the boys were keen on throwing hatchets and starting fires! Before he even became their official stepfather in 2020, Gwen wished him a Happy Father's Day and thanked him for helping her raise her sons.
In the Instagram photos, Blake smiled as he bonded with the boys. The country music artist was also recorded playing with one of the children in their home in June 2022, with Gwen sharing how grateful she was for him daily.
A second source shared how he [Blake Shelton] didn't see "any harm" in his bonding with Gwen's [Stefani] children.
For Father's Day that year, his wife wished him a happy one and shared a video and more pictures of Blake bonding with the boys. In the caption of the Instagram post, Gwen said they all loved him very much and added:
"God really gave me you for the ups and downs."
While it's evident from the posts that Blake loves his wife's children like they were his own, the three boys also felt the same way about him! They didn't only see him as their mother's boyfriend when he was dating Gwen, but more.
What Do Gwen's Children Think about Their Stepfather, Blake?
According to a 2019 HollywoodLife source, that year, Gwen and Blake spent the Easter holidays together because she and her children thought of the country star "as a father figure." The insider continued explaining:
"They respect and love him and are very appreciative of him being there for them."
Blake was said to be taking the stepfather role seriously and loved it. However, he wasn't trying to minimize Gavin's role as the boys' father and wasn't taking them away from him either.
The source claimed Gavin was a wonderful father to his children, but Gwen was pleased that the brood got the "best of both worlds." Like Gavin, the country singer stepped up to the role and planned to be in the children's lives forever.
The insider described the blended family as a "pretty healthy situation" and revealed how everyone was getting along nicely. The "Ol' Red" musician allegedly believed it was healthier for him to help out and be present in the trio's lives when Gwen had them.
A second source shared how he didn't see "any harm" in his bonding with Gwen's children. He'd also allegedly made it clear to Gavin that he was only there to help in supporting the boys and nothing else.
