Natasha Bure, the daughter of "Full House" actress Candace Cameron Bure and her husband, former ice hockey right winger Valeri Bure recently took to her Instagram to support her mother.

The "Growing Pains" actress had come under fire for her comment about keeping the traditional marriage belief alive when announcing her new Christmas movies that will feature on the Great American Family TV Network.

In her sweet Instagram post, Natasha posed alongside her family and revealed they were her favorite people. She shared how blessed she was to have the best parents she could've asked for and was grateful that they had raised her and her siblings in the word of God.

Natasha asked her mom to continue standing firm in faith and never let others dim her light. She then thanked her for continuously choosing Christ before she added:

"The media is an absolutely VILE space for negativity, and I applaud you every time for how you handle yourself with the upmost grace."

For a long time, Bure was known as the queen of secular rom-com Christmas movies. Still, in line with her faith, she switched to doing God-and-country alternatives for holiday entertainment at the Great American Family media company.

She revealed that her heart wanted to tell stories that carried more meaning, purpose, and depth and promote faith programming. As the chief creative officer at Great American Family, Candace is determined to bring Christian values back to family entertainment.

During a sitdown with The Wall Street Journal, Bure made it quite clear that the channel would not be featuring any same-sex couples in their holiday movies, saying:

"I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core."

However, the chief executive of Great American Media and Bure's career guide for the past many years, Bill Abbott, did not openly deny any involvement of same-sex couples in the shows. He acknowledged that they were aware of the "trends," and they had no whiteboards saying yes or no to featuring same-sex couples.

Bure's comments elicited harsh reactions from people far and wide, with "The Christmas Contract" actress Hilarie Burton taking to her Twitter to call her out for her remarks.

In the tweet dated November 15, Burton referred to Bure as a bigot, adding that she did not remember Jesus liking hypocrites like Bure. In a subsequent tweet, Burton called out both Bure and Abbott, adding that being LGBTQ was not a trend:

"There is nothing untraditional about same-sex couples."

Many others called out Bure for her comments, including "One Chance" singer JoJo Siwa who took to her Instagram to express her thoughts. She wondered how Bure could come at the LGBTQ community like that. She wrote: "This is rude and hurtful to a whole community of people."

Many seemed to agree with Siwa as they heart-reacted to her post, including Bure's costar on "Full House" Jodie Sweetin and "West Side Story" actress Maddie Ziegler.

Bure defended herself by saying that any color was appropriate in Los Angeles, noting that there were others in red at the same wedding. But then the comments kept streaming in, with others showing concern that her husband and son had not worn socks to the wedding.
