Talula Fyfe Dempsey, Patrick Dempsey's daughter, said goodbye to high school and enjoyed her first year at university in 2020. Although she is all grown up, the "Grey's Anatomy" actor said watching his little girl grow up was "a big transition."

Talula was born on February 20, 2002, and Patrick and Lillian waited five years before expanding their family. While the "Grey's Anatomy" alum has garnered a reputation for being a heartthrob in Hollywood, he joked that his kids could not have been less impressed.

He revealed that Talula and her siblings made fun of their father, never allowing him to take himself too seriously. However, he suspected they would appreciate his success when they were older. Patrick further said:

"I mean, I'm just 'Dad,' so… either you're 'Cool Dad' or not. It depends on where they're at in their development and age."

During an interview, Patrick shared that he enjoyed having older children. Talula jetted off to university in Washington, and Patrick said he enjoyed the insight Talula and her brothers gained the older they got.

During an interview on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in October 2020, Patrick revealed that Talula never experienced high school milestones — like prom — during her senior year. After Talula graduated from high school, Patrick took to social media to commemorate her accomplishment.

During the interview, the actor shared that Talula's family tried to give her the senior prom experience and created a makeshift prom on a Saturday night.

Talula got all dressed up, and while it was heartbreaking for Patrick and Jillian to watch their daughter miss out on a special moment, she got to share her evening with friends via Zoom.

With over fifteen thousand followers on Instagram, Talula's friends frequent her page. She also documents her love for travel. In August, she shared multiple pictures from her trip after spending the summer in Paris, and in 2018, she enjoyed the scenic views from a beach in Spain.

When Talula was younger, her father revealed she was his most creative child who enjoyed cooking. Fast forward several years, and he had a teenager on his hands. Patrick said:

"You go from a baby girl walking around in dresses to junior high and then high school. It's a big transition. You have to weather the storm!"
