Ginuwine’s 9 Children Are All Supportive of His Career after ‘Hard’ Time Raising Them as Kids
Ginuwine's children have been regulars on the singer's page. He often gushes about being a proud father despite struggling to keep in contact with them as a busy musician and falling out with one of his daughters.
Ginuwine has been in the music industry for years and has become a well-known RnB artist for his hit songs like "Pony" and "In Those Jeans."
However, with nearly a million followers on Instagram at the time of writing, fans took to the comments section to express their surprise when the singer revealed he had seven daughters.
In November, Ginuwine posted a picture of four of his daughters on Halloween and wrote in the caption that he had three more. One user commented, "Geez, (I) didn't realize he has so many children." Another person wrote, "He (has) 7 daughters. How did I not know that."
While fans were surprised that the RnB singer was a father to seven girls, Ginuwine often takes to social media to share that he is a proud father to all his children.
Ginuwine Is a Proud Dad of 9 Children with Different Women
Over the years, the total number of Ginuwine's children was unclear. However, he set the record straight in 2017 when he shared that he was a father of nine children. The RnB singer posted a throwback picture of all nine of his kids in August 2017 and shared they were his inspiration.

In 2001, Ginuwine had a ten-year-old son, Elgin, from a previous relationship and was expecting his second child and first daughter with musician, Solé.
The female rapper already had her two daughters, Cypress and De'jan, before her relationship with Ginuwine, and they share their daughters, Story and Dream.
The mothers of his four other children have not been revealed; however, his other son's name is Taijah. While speaking about his children, Ginuwine said:
"I've always been that person that wants respect for being involved with my kids all the time."
In early October, Dream, Story, and Taijah took a family trip with their father to the Bahamas, where the singer said they had an "amazing time."
Although the "In Those Jeans" singer is over fifty and nearing double digits in kids, Ginuwine once revealed that he wanted more children when he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother.
Ginuwine & His Children Once Had a Difficult Relationship
After their grandparents passed away, Ginuwine's children could remember them through their father's music as the singer made a tribute to his late parents in hopes of sharing it with his children one day.
While their father's music was a way of bringing their family closer, it was also the reason Ginuwine's children rarely saw the singer. As a touring artist, he was on the road for the better part of the year. Ginuwine said:
"You're at one end of the country, and your kid's at the other end, and all you have is the phone. That's hard. They tell you they miss you, they love you, and then you hang up."
One of Ginuwine's children, Tiffany, let her frustration with her father be known when she took to Twitter in 2012 to call her father a deadbeat.
In a chain of tweets, she posted screenshots of alleged messages between herself and her father where she confronted him for being absent from his children's lives.
"You don't miss your children yet?" one message read in part. In another tweet, Tiffany shared that she messaged Ginuwine consistently to remind him of his absence in his children's lives.
Her father did not respond to her publicly but reportedly shared on Twitter that "just (because) you make a mistake does not mean you can never fix it."
What Is Ginuwine & His Children's Current Relationship?
After weathering the storm with their father, Ginuwine's children have become his biggest supporters. One of the singer's tour dates fell on Father's Day in June, and they surprised him with a touching gesture.
Ginuwine's children sent him a compilation of Father's Day wishes, and he posted the video on his Instagram. In the caption, he wrote:
"I'm so happy and full of joy because of what my kids did for me. They know I'm always gone, but I try to see them as much as possible."
In 2017, one of Ginuwine's children, De'jan, tied the knot, and he received the honor of walking her down the aisle along with her biological father.
They walked down the aisle to "1 + 1" by Beyoncé, and later in the evening, De'jan and Ginuwine shared a daddy-daughter dance. In an Instagram post captioned "Parents" with a red part, De'jan shared a picture of her biological parents and Ginuwine.
To add to the celebratory evening, her father performed his hit song "Pony," and the groom joined in on the dancing. Some of De'jan's sisters were also in attendance.
In August, Story, Dream, and Cypress wore smiles as they posed for a picture with their father, who wrote in the caption that he loved seeing his "babies."
In June, Ginuwine took to social media to share that he had bought Dream her first car. Her white ride had a large green bow as she smiled beside her father.
In 2020, the singer went from a father of nine to a grandfather of one after Cypress gave birth to a girl. Ginuwine's granddaughter, Sage Lotus, was born on May 17, and he shared her picture on Instagram, welcoming her to the world.
The day after Sage was born, Cypress also announced her daughter's birth on Instagram and shared that her mother was her doula as well.
