Being the son of famous comedian Will Ferrell, Axel Ferrell has been a fascinating personality for Hollywood fans. On several occasions, his dad has had glowing praise for their family.

The Birth of Axel
Will and Viveca welcomed their son Axel on January 23, 2010, in Los Angeles. The fact that the young boy's father was a comedian seemed like both a blessing and a curse. The comedy actor added:
"I can only imagine, but I sometimes equate [parenting boys] to what it must be like running a prison."
The comedy actor has stated publicly that one of his "greatest joys" as a parent was embarrassing Axel and his siblings, especially when they misbehave or did something wrong.

He said that he was trying to warn his children by being annoying. He explained that every time they made rude comments, he would show up at dinner wearing nothing but his underpants.
Although Will earlier admitted to embarrassing his children when they misbehaved, the tables would turn when it came to following family traditions.
The doting dad joked about how often he found himself "barking orders" to his children about what to do. He went on to say there was so much chaos that he didn't have time to articulate his thoughts.

Both of Axel's Parents Have Acting Credits
Axel's parents are well-known in the entertainment industry. Viveca first met her future husband in an acting class in 1995, and they went on to date. Will awkwardly proposed to Viveca years later, and the couple tied the knot in 2000.
Axel's father gained fame through comedy films such as "Anchorman: The Legend of Burgundy," "Elf," and "Daddy's Home." He is best known for his funny antics on "Saturday Night Live."

The power couple has been together for over two decades. Will gushed about Viveca and said she was perfect for him because she understood his sense of humor.

Axel Is the Youngest of the Siblings
Magnus, born on March 7, 2004, and Mattias, born on December 30, 2006, are Axel's older brothers. His brothers were given Scandinavian names in honor of their mother's Swedish heritage.
There's not much information about Axel's teenage brothers. However, Magnus recently entered the dating scene, while Mattias has developed an interest in sports, especially soccer.

Every Halloween, the actor said, Axel and his brothers would choose his costume no matter what it was. He shared that his boys had once picked out a poop emoji costume for him to wear for the occasion.
