92-year-old Clint Eastwood is a doting grandfather to his grandchildren. During a previous interview, the star's children spoke about him as an ordinary man instead of a famous movie actor.

Alison Eastwood, the actor's daughter, revealed how people would ask her what it was like growing up with the actor as her father. Some people might recognize him from his roles in "The Man With No Name" and "Dirty Harry," but Alison confessed that the star wasn't any different from other fathers.

Alison jokingly explained, "He's way laid-back. Probably too laid-back. Don't tell him, though!" She also described him as a "real softie" and despite playing tough characters, he was "kind of a hippie."

Eastwood's two other children, Scott and Francesca, followed in his footsteps by becoming actors. In 2016, Francesca played her first lead role in "Outlaws and Angels." Speaking about her father, she described him as "a tough guy," but "also a dad." She added, "He's the real deal, a real person."

As a teenager, Alison thought her parents were "dorky," but as she and her brother, Kyle, matured, they realized how much they meant to them. As an adult, she and her father were good friends who laughed a lot with so much to share.

The look on Eastwood's face showed how much joy it was spending time with the little boy. In June 2021, Francesca shared two Instagram images of the star posing with one of his other grandchildren, Titan, captioning the post:

"Best dad. Best grandfather."

The actor looked delighted as he held up his grandchild, who looked directly at him in the first photo, and at the camera in the second. Alison once noted how she and her father had a lot of fun with his grandchildren and that he enjoyed it now that he'd "settled down a bit."

The actor's daughter revealed he worked a lot throughout her childhood, so she didn't see much of him. However, by 2019, he only did one film a year and spent much of his time with them, adding:

"We all have dinner, we all have fun, it’s a lot of laughter, there’s a lot of kidding and joking.”

The actor-director met Sandera at the Mission Ranch Hotel, one of his many properties. She was working as a hostess, and they fell in love quickly, but Eastwood remained at the family's Carmel home, where he used to stay with his ex-wife, Dina.

After the star's second wife moved out of their marital home, Sandera moved in a few years later. According to reports, the couple might be engaged, but the press wouldn't know because the actor is very private.
