Kirstie Alley's daughter Lillie Price Stevenson has had to deal with the untimely death of loved ones at an early age. Her fiancé was killed in a traffic accident, and Kelly Preston, a family friend and "second mother" to Lillie, passed away in 2020.

Her otherwise quiet childhood was sprinkled with walks on the red carpet with her mother and a brief stint as a reality personality. After years of working in design and styling, she was coaxed by her life partner into starting a furniture company.

"As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother."

Kirstie Alley was lauded for her "never-ending joy" that encouraged others to live their lives the same way. The siblings thanked the medical team at Moffitt Cancer Center for caring for their mom in her final months and the public for their prayers. They signed the post under the last name Parker.

The Beautiful Reason Why Lillie Price Stevenson Was Named after Her Great-Grandmother

Alley's love for her husband Parker Stevenson's paternal grandmother, Granny Price, inspired the middle name of their child Lillie Price, who they adopted in 1994. The actress called the Price matriarch "delicate and strong at once," which is how she perceived her daughter.

Upon conceiving after years of trying, the actress spent thousands decorating the baby's room and maternity clothes. The star suffered a traumatizing miscarriage at eight weeks of a baby that would have had Down syndrome in 1990.

After losing their biological progeny, the pair decided to take the costly but expeditious journey of private adoption that set them back around $25,000. This amount covered the birth mother's living and medical expenses and the lawyer fees.

Lillie was raised in her mother's Scientology faith and attended its private boarding school, Delphian School, in the rural town of Sheridan, Oregon. Other notable alums include Tom Cruise's daughter Isabella and director Paul Haggis's child, Lauren.

She was Alley's plus-one on various red carpets, such as the premieres of "The Runaways" and "Sydney White." In her late teens, she appeared on her mother's single-season reality show, "Kirstie Alley's Big Life."

Her mother opened an education center in her hometown, Wichita, Kansas, and named it in her honor, Lillie's Learning Place.

At sixteen, Lillie met her first love, Nick Trela, then 19, who worked at the Delphian School. The young couple was living together and planning their wedding when he got into a fatal accident.

"Modern Family" actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson's husband, Justin Mikita, reportedly crossed a double yellow line into oncoming traffic and ran his Audi into Trela, 23, who was on a Honda motorcycle.

The L.A. City Attorney decided not to press vehicular manslaughter charges against the celebrity spouse in July 2015, stating that the speeding 23-year-old was partly to blame. The Trela family filed a lawsuit against Mikita, who called the accident "a horrible tragedy."

Lillie Found Her 'Forever Valentines'

Lillie found love in the arms of furniture maker Chaffee Burkhart Graham, with whom she started Parker Burkhart, a sustainable high-end furniture company. According to Chaffee, the company is trying to "put Ikea out of business one piece at a time."

The couple got engaged on the last day of 2016, and although there is no official statement about their marriage, she identifies as "Lillie Parker Graham" on their website. The couple welcomed their first child, Ripp Woodrow Graham, on May 7, 2021.

Chaffee, who lost his "amazing mom" when he was 12, celebrated Lillie's first Mother's Day by calling her the "most beautiful mother" he knows. On Valentine's Day in 2022, she shared a sweet photo her son and partner captioned "forever valentines."

Lillie Is Not the Only Adopted Child in Her Family

Kirstie Alley and her second husband, Parker, adopted William True in 1992, who goes by his middle name. He did not participate in his mother's reality show but had a role on the third episode of her comedy "Fat Actress" in 2005.

As a teenager, he got the "Cheers" star's blessing when he got married at 17 to his girlfriend of a year in 2010. The actress said that her children were "very protective" of her and encouraged her to join them in their active lifestyle.

Alley became a granny when True and his partner welcomed Waylon Tripp Parker in June 2016. She referred to her son's partner as his "girlfriend," and it is unclear if it is the same person he married in 2010.

The eldest son of the "Drop Dead Gorgeous" actress had a childhood out of the spotlight, and it is not publicized if he also enrolled at the Scientology boarding school in Oregon. He was best friends with Lillie's late fiancé, Trela.
