They Started a Business Together in 2013 and Used Their Wedding Money to Open It

After saving for their wedding day for years, along with money loaned by friends and family, Walker and Troy chose to use their savings to open a juice business, Clover Juice. They bought a two hundred square feet shop in Los Angeles and built the shop themselves.

Their business stemmed from their shared passion for healthy eating based on nutrition and wellness, and they set out with a goal to provide high-quality juices to their community, which grew beyond their expectation.

Troy admitted that she was a woman of many trades after spending some time dabbling in fashion– which she loved. But she knew a career in the food industry that inspired people to lead healthier lives through moderation and conscious eating was her true calling.

"I cry daily with gratitude for how full my heart feels, realizing that this is our reality. We have believed, challenged, and stretch ourselves."

Like Bruce Willis, the couple moved into their dream home. But before that, Troy and Walker started in a two-bedroom apartment, they could barely afford for years as they poured all they could into their business.

Over the years, they became newlywed while living in their apartment, they welcomed children, kickstarted their company, mourned the loss of their first dog, and forged lifelong friendships there as well.

Troy said it was a humbling experience for her and her husband on their journey to where they are now, but it was the perfect one as it taught them they could be happy even if they lived in a box.
