Dylan Starr Williams is the youngest paternal brother of the 23-time Grand slam champion, Serena Williams, who was preceded by her older sister Venus Williams, on the court.

Dylan is the least popular amongst his remarkably gifted siblings, as he is barely spoken about; and shielded from the media. His family name is cemented in the sports world. His birth made the 23 Grand Slam title holder, Serena, a big sister for the first time.

The 10-year-old was born in the middle of August 2012. Dylan's mother, Lakeisha Juanita Graham, is 37 years younger than his father, Richard Willaims. Dylan's parents shielded him from the public attention surrounding the Williams family.

Dylan Starr Williams Started Coming to Sister's Games as a Baby

When Dylan was born, he became his aging father's central priority, causing the then 71-year-old to abandon his supportive role in his daughters' careers. Richard took care of Dylan at their Florida residence since infancy. Dylan's sister Serena Williams is one of the greatest tennis players, ranking 8th in most titles won by a famale.

Dylan's first public appearance was at one of Venus's practice matches at the 2013 Sony Open in Miami, accompanied by his parents. His father's ex-wife, Ocarene, was also at the arena that day. The lad also shares a middle name with the oldest tennis champion in his line of siblings, Venus Ebony Starr Williams.

Images that circulated show then-1-year-old at Venus' match in the presence of his parents. To date, Dylan's life has been a private affair, leaving no clues about his current activity. His sister Venus has also had a stellar career, reaching five-time Olympian status, with five Olympic medals between 2000 and 2016.

Dylan Starr Williams's Sister Venus Said She Would Bear the Burden of Teaching Him Tennis

Dylan is born into a family of tennis royalty. Two of his half-siblings, Venus and Serena, have competed at the highest level, and his father, Richard, has coached them for many years. However, now in his old age, Richard does not have the same eagerness he had when harvesting his daughters' world-dominating skill.

With tennis stitched into his family DNA, the possibility of Dylan taking up the sport professionally can not be ruled out. His older sister, Venus, who is the more experienced of the two Williams sisters, mentioned that she might have to carry her father's legacy:

"I think my dad is tired of tennis. I don't know if he's ready to do that again. I have to put it on my shoulders."

Serena announced her retirement from the sport this year. Her participation in the sport lasted 27 years. Her older sister, Venus, could not look past her outstanding grip on tennis, adding that her sister's retirement was unimaginable. Venus is hopeful that Serena will continue to partner up with her in doubles matches.

Dylan Starr Williams' Father Now has Dementia while Raising Him

Dylan's father is now 80 years old and sadly has dementia, a disease that attacks the brain, disabling the recollection of memories and the organ's intellectual functions. It is also reported that he has suffered strokes in recent years.

Richard has been married three times in his lifetime. He married Betty Johnson in 1965 who he shares five children with. Their marriage ended in 1973. In 1980, Richard married Oracene Price, their union birth Serena and Venus, before their divorce in 2002 following allegations of domestic violence against him.

Richard married Lakeisha, only a year older than Venus, in 2010. After their only child, Dylan, was born, the couple spent a few years together and underwent a divorce in 2017. Lakeisha vouched for the divorce to be canceled as her intimate cohabitation with Richard resumed in 2019.
