Keith Urban Stops Concert to Confess Love & Send Air Kiss to Wife Nicole Kidman in Touching Video

After a difficult marriage and divorce with Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman found love and peace in the arms of Australian musician Keith Urban. The pair have weathered many storms together but remained by one another's side through it all.

Now, they are taking time away from their careers to be with their elderly parents in hopes that they will be able to spend some quality time with them before their time on this earth is over with.

Urban and Kidman value family above all else, and Urban exhibited this when he recently stopped his concert to record a video for his beloved wife. Urban was performing in Melbourne when he asked the crowd a favor.

He asked that everyone say hello to his wife; he then recorded a video and sent it to her while performing. She posted the video on her Instagram story and said the video made her night. She then thanked her husband.

The video first showed Urban talking into a microphone and then he turned around to reveal the large crowd of people behind him, all of whom waved and said hello to Kidman for the special video.

The Heartbreaking Reason Urban and Kidman Flew Home with Their Daughters for Christmas

While Christmas is usually a time for love and celebration, Urban and Kidman have different reasons for traveling home to be in Sydney, Australia, this year. It boils down to their aging mothers.

On December 18, 2022, Kidman and Urban arrived in Sydney with their teenage daughters in tow. They had arrived in their home country to spend some time with each of their mothers for the holidays.

However, the atmosphere is not entirely celebratory as the family is keenly aware that it might be their last with Kidman's mother, Janelle. Janelle, 81, has been ill since the beginning of 2022, and Kidman believes it might be the last time she can celebrate the holiday alongside her mother.

Urban's mother is also elderly, having turned 80 this year. Talking about what it meant to spend Christmas with them, the musician said:

"My mum just turned 80, and Nic's mum… who knows how many Christmases we get with anybody ever, but particularly with our mums, I really cherish that chance to spend Chrissy with them and our family in Aus."

He went on to say that they had no family living near them in Nashville, Tennessee, so being in their hometown felt particularly special to them. Kidman revealed that she wanted to make this Christmas as memorable as possible.

Kidman and Urban Prepare Special Christmas

After Kidman and Urban landed in Sydney, it was off to the grocery store. They stopped at a local spot and picked up some festive favorites before they arrived at Kidman's mum’s home in Sydney.

Among the items they bought was Arnott's Family Assorted biscuits, which contain some of the most popular biscuits offered in the country. They are an Aussie favorite and a nostalgic snack for Urban and Kidman.

Kidman is said to be pulling out all the stops this Christmas so that she and her family can truly enjoy what might be the last Christmas both with her mother and her beloved husband's mother, too.
