Johnny Depp’s Daughter Who Looks Like Her Mom but with Dad’s Eyes Once Defended Him When His Ex Sued Him
French model Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp's daughter, Lily-Rose Depp, inherited her mother's looks and interests; but has her father's eyes. She is also blessed with loving parents. Paradis supported her ex-husband during a lawsuit involving another ex-wife.
It is no surprise that Johnny Depp is famous for his unconventional movie roles and versatility and has earned numerous awards and nominations.
The actor, born on June 9, 1963, in Owensboro, Kentucky, has since been acquainted with performing. In his early years, he fell in love with music and even dropped out of high school to become a singer with his band.

For many years, he struggled to find a breakthrough in music and ended up starring in a 1984 film. After a few years, Depp faced acting, and in 2003, he became a force to reckon with following his appearance as Captain Jack Sparrow in "The Pirates of the Caribbean" franchises.
At the same time, he was in a long-term relationship with French model and actress Vanessa Paradis. She became his second wife and mother to his two kids, daughter Lily-Rose Depp and son Jack Depp.
Like Depp, the French-born had a knack for singing and acting. However, Paradis tasted fame earlier than her ex-husband. Her career began at age 14, after witnessing international fame with her "Joe le Taxi" song.

Following Paradis and the "Tusk" star's divorce, they remarried other people. In 2015, Depp tied the knot with American actress Amber Heard, while his former wife married film director Samuel Benchetrit.
While the exes live differently, they still value their friendship and family values. They are both invested in co-parenting their children and have a solid relationship with them.
Lily-Rose Depp Is Her Mom's Look-Alike but Is Also Similar to Her Dad
The former couple welcomed their first child in 1999 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine, France. Lily Rose, the spitting image of her model mom, grew up enjoying her parents' attention, despite their busy careers.

She and her brother, Jack, were raised in a bilingual household. They were schooled in the US, and the siblings loved communicating in French. As younger kids, they were shielded from the spotlight, spending most of their time in the South of France.
In 2020, Paradis was among the numerous supporters expressing their loyalty to the "The Pirates of the Caribbean" star. She tendered a declaration that acquitted him of being an abuser.
Consequently, the result of being active parents was an unbreakable bond shared between the celebrities and their brood. Today, in awe of her mother, Lily-Rose has been inspired to forge her path. Like Paradis, she stepped into the limelight as a teenager following her appearance in "Tusk." At 15, she became the face of the luxury brand Chanel.
Since then, Depp's mini-me has refused to rest on her oars. She continues to pad her resume, featuring in French films. Lily Rose's latest achievement is her contract with the HBO series, "The Idol." The Chanel ambassador is set to star alongside Disney alum, Debby Ryan, and singer, The Weekend.
While sharing the news, the younger model posted a Vogue-worthy snap of herself on set. She donned jaw-dropping lingerie, leaving little to the imagination while flaunting her toned legs.
In a former interview, the "The Idol" star hailed her mother for instilling confidence in her. She reflected on Paradis' career, explaining how her mother suffered because of her pride in her sexuality. Lily-Rose claimed:
"People were truly horrible to her. It was a different time. Women weren't as celebrated for being comfortable in their sexuality. My mom is a trailblazer, truly. She's taught me a lot about self-confidence."
Her online fans and family appreciate the Chanel model's confidence. In 2015, Depp expressed his pride in her when she joined the "Self Evident Project," which honored individuals who refused to identify as being entirely heterosexual.
In a reassuring tone, the father-of-two echoed that his daughter is never afraid. "She's not afraid to say anything to me. We're super tight, and I'm very proud of our relationship," he explained. Depp emphasized that he is always available to help her with advice, even though he trusts her ability to make firm decisions.
Despite being divorced from Paradis, the actor's love for their kids supersedes his convenience. Following his defamation trial against his third ex-wife, Heard, he confessed to the jury that he was clearing his name because of his kids.
Thankfully, setting an excellent example for the younger Depps has paid off. In 2016, Lily Rose defended her dad against Heard, revealing his perfect parenting.
Six years later, this time as a young adult, the Chanel ambassador boldly stated that she was not obligated to comment on the defamation lawsuit. She wanted the beam to be on her actions and not the allegations from her father's former wife.
In the same interview, Depp's daughter applauded her parents for protecting her from the spotlight while giving her a sense of normalcy.
Vanessa Paradis Supported Her Ex-husband against His Ex-wife
Lily-Rose is not the only one who speaks highly of the "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" star. While strangers might have canceled the actor following Heard's accusations, Paradis supported him.

Heard filed for a domestic violence restraining order one year into their marriage. A few months later, they settled out of court after signing NDAs restricting them from discussing their relationship publicly.
In 2019, Depp's attorney sued Heard over her 2018 article published in The Washington Post, where she claimed to be a victim of domestic violence. He also sued a British tabloid that labeled him a "wife beater." In 2022, the lawsuit between the actor and Heard resumed, lasting for many weeks before the jury's verdict, which favored Depp.

In 2020, Paradis was among the numerous supporters expressing their loyalty to the "The Pirates of the Caribbean" star . She tendered a declaration that acquitted him of being an abuser. In her words:
"I have known Johnny Depp for more than 25 years. Through all these years I've known Johnny to be a kind, attentive, generous, and non-violent person and father. I am aware of the allegations which Amber Heard has publicly accused Johnny of…This is nothing like the true Johnny I have known."
Apart from her smooth relationship with her ex-husband post-divorce and closeness with her kids, Paradis has an excellent relationship with non-relatives. She turned 50 on December 22, 2022, and a longtime friend, Lenny Kravitz, celebrated her by sharing a throwback photo which earned lovely comments from well-wishers.
