Life of 'The Brady Bunch' Kid Barry Williams after 'Very Intense Years' on the Show

The actor who played Greg Brady in the classic TH show, "The Brady Bunch," Barry Williams, has grown up to be a loving father and a committed family man. He celebrated his 68th birthday on September 30, 1954. After the hit show, the actor's life took a turn down some unique trails.

Barry had always loved acting, and he started working on his skills at a young age. He starred in numerous minor roles until his big break in "The Brady Bunch" in 1969. When the show inevitably ended, he made a living making appearances on stage and in film productions.

The actor made appearances in various obscure and famous projects, including "West Side Story," "Murder, She Wrote," "General Hospital," "Pippin," "Oklahoma," and "Highway to Heaven." While on "The Brady Bunch," he also learned how to sing. After the show ended, he tried his hand at being a musician, but the record label that signed him went out of business.

After Eila, Barry met Elizabeth Kennedy, and the two got married.

Years after he became famous, the actor had two children and is a caring father. He opened up about his time acting on "The Brady Bunch," and he admitted that, although he was having fun, those were "very intense years." Growing up in front of an adoring audience was always tricky for Barry, and he said his fellow cast members agreed.

How Did Barry Williams Celebrate His Honeymoon with His Wife?

Throughout his life, Barry was involved with three women, and he shared children with two of them. In 1990, he met his first wife, Diane Martin, and the two had a son together, Brandon Eric Williams. However, a few years later, in 1992, Barry and Diane went their separate ways. Brady made sure to keep in touch with his son.

Barry invests a lot of his time in his children. Although he and his current wife decided not to have children, he enjoys being a father to the kids he has.

In 1999, he met his second serious partner, Eila Mary Matt, but their relationship ended in 2005. After Eila, Barry met Elizabeth Kennedy, and the two got married. In April 2012, Elizabeth gave birth to their daughter, Samantha Rose Williams. Elizabeth and Barry separated a while later.

In 2017, Barry met Tina Mahina. Barry and Tina have been together since 2017, and they recently shared photos of them enjoying their honeymoon "after a little over 5 years and 4 months of wedded bliss," as Barry put it.

Barry marked the time he spent with his third wife on their honeymoon by posting a few holiday photos on Twitter. The pair enjoyed an exciting trip to San Jose, Mexico, where they relaxed by the pool, enjoyed honeymoon treats, and spent quality time together. The photos included snapshots of the happy couple, towel swans, and the resort.

What Kind of Dad Is Barry?

Barry invests a lot of his time in his children. Although he and his current wife decided not to have children, he enjoys being a father to the kids he has. Barry kept his kids out of the public eye but did open up about them. He talked about his son with pride, saying Brandon is a hugely talented musician and is currently studying. He said:

"My son is a musician. [Because he is a] full-time student [Brandon] hasn't made any [comments] about going into [music] as a profession."

While his son is still a teenager, his daughter is even younger. The dad said, like his son, he has no idea what the future has in store for Samantha, but he knows she'll be excellent at it. He mentioned she has tremendous talent and the personality to drive her to be successful.

Barry also mentioned that he's unsure whether any of his two kids would go into show business, but he would be right behind them no matter what they decide to pursue in the future. He said as a dad, he wants to see them happy more than anything else.

Barry spent a lot of time making sure his kids were happy growing up. The actor was an involved and supportive dad, and even now, he said he would be "100 percent supportive of whatever [his kids] chose to do."
