Cody DaLuz Is Joss Stone's Partner and the Father of Her Kids

Joss Stone's partner, Cody DaLuz, came into her life just when she needed him – during a breakup just before the first Covid-19 lockdown of 2020. His reaction to her ambitious baby plans convinced her he was the one.

Joss Stone was pregnant with her first child with Cody DaLuz when she competed in the British version of "The Masked Singer," which she ultimately won.

Among her various accolades, she was written up in the Guinness World Record for being the youngest solo performer, at 17, to win a BRIT Award. She hopes to settle with her partner in her hometown of Dover, Kent, once their kids go to school.

A tabloid listed DaLuz's age as 31 in a 2022 report, which also stated that he grew up in the coastal city of North Kingstown, Rhode Island. He trained as a marine in the US Navy and also worked as a military contractor.

The Rhode Island native now works for Amazon in logistics and is also a musician. According to his Instagram account, he is a world traveler, having spent time in locations such as Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Dubai, and Colombia.

Joss Stone Met Cody DaLuz in an Airport While in the Middle of a Breakup with Her Ex

The singer describes their first meeting as "quite magical." During a drawn-out breakup with an unnamed partner, Stone met DaLuz at the airport in Belize and deepened their connection over drinks at a hotel bar where they both happened to stay.

He followed up with a DM on social media. The "Tell Me What We're Gonna Do Now" songstress said her naval beau is a "lovely, normal human being" and a gentleman. She believes they work as a couple because they value the same things in life. The star said:

"I think that he nurtures the fairy tale need in me; he listens to me, and I love that because I don't have many people in my life that do that."

Like another celebrity couple, Kyle Kuzma and Winnie Harlow, the pair's love bloomed during the lockdown in 2020. The couple moved in together in the singer's home base in Nashville the same year.

On a trip to London in September 2020, DaLuz called Stone "hard-working and beautiful" and rounded off the sweet tribute by saying he loved every minute of being with her.

The "Never Forget My Love" singer is excited about the prospect of marrying the former marine and hinted that they could seal the deal with a spontaneous elopement. Currently, the singer takes her whole family, including her pets, or as she calls them, her "fluff babies," on her travels.

When meeting a new love interest, the British crooner's opening line was that she wished to have seven children, which had many running for the hills. DaLuz's response – that he hoped to adopt a Beagle and a baby – proved that he was different than other partners.

Stone revealed that the nurses were impressed with her partner's smooth transition into fatherhood once their first child, Violet Melissa DaLuz, was born in January 2021. Cody said on Insta a month later that he had a "house full of perfect women."

The "Never Forget My Love" singer shared on Facebook Live in April 2022 that she and her partner had been blessed with another child. Sadly, she also revealed that she had a miscarriage a few months earlier, in October 2021.

The couple welcomed their son, Shackleton Stoker Daluz, in the early morning hours of October 18, 2022. In the social media announcement that featured their growing family in full, Cody said that Violet was "such a sweet little girl" who loved her new brother.
