What started as a professional relationship later developed into a romantic connection, and soon after, the duo began dating. In 2017, Carney proposed to the Grammy Award winner, and two years later, the lovebirds tied the knot in a colorful wedding ceremony.

Unfortunately, Branch and Carney's marriage lasted only three years before the couple called it quits. According to reports, the two had a rocky relationship filled with infidelity allegations and domestic violence. Even though Branch's second union was short-lived, her first marriage to Teddy lasted much longer.

Although Teddy is now pursuing a different career path, he is a former bass player. He performed with the band Burning Water which he formed with his brother, Michael Landau, a musician and record producer.

In 2003, Teddy began performing with Branch while on a music tour. The two started dating and tied the knot a year later. While speaking to People in 2006, the singer disclosed that her parents were against her marrying Teddy because he was 19 years older. She said:

"My relationship had a very rocky start. My parents hated the idea – and now love him, of course. My dad never wanted me to be with a musician."

After almost 11 years of marriage, the "Everywhere" singer filed for divorce from Teddy in 2015, citing irreconcilable differences. The duo finalized their divorce nine months after filing it.

Based on Teddy's Instagram page, most of his posts include pictures of sports cars, and he sometimes shares glimpses of his daughter.

As per the divorce documents, Branch got all her master recordings, demos, royalties, and musical compositions. On the other hand, Teddy didn't walk away empty-handed; he got some of their properties, including a GMC truck and a Mustang.

Branch stated that she and Teddy picked the name because they thought they were having a baby boy. But upon finding out they were having a girl, they still settled for the same name because they both loved it.

She, however, noted that her daughter's middle name, Isabelle is quite feminine and that if she didn't like her first name, she could switch to using Isabelle. Even though Teddy and Branch went their separate ways, the two agreed to share custody of their daughter.

Despite her busy schedule, Branch always finds time for her daughters; the mom of two, who welcomed another child in 2022, opened up about her experience raising her second kid while her first child prepares for college.

In 2022, while the singer prepared for her tours, she also helped her daughter -- who identifies as nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns -- research colleges to enroll in earlier this year. The Grammy Award winner stated that college would give Owen new experiences.

Teddy also has a special bond with his daughter; he often shares photos and videos of Owen engaging in different hobbies and interests. From his posts and the sweet captions, one can tell he's a proud parent.
