Christian Siriano's Partner: The Designer Found Love Again with Kyle Smith after a Failed First Marriage
Christian Siriano committed over a decade of his life to his soon-to-be ex-husband before the couple separated in 2018. He soon found love with Kyle Smith, and the pair went public with their relationship later that year.
Fashion design icon Christian Siriano became the youngest winner of Heidi Klum's "Project Runway" in 2008 at only 22 years old. The judges, including Klum, Victoria Beckham, and Nina Garcia, praised his innovative designs and "flair for the drama."
The "fierce" Siriano had studied fashion design under Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen before joining the show in its fourth season. Since his well-deserved win, Siriano launched his own namesake brand and expanded his horizons.

He has contributed to worthy social causes, prioritizing body inclusivity and diversity in his designs. Models of varying demographics in body shape, size, gender, and race, have flawlessly graced the runway in Christian Siriano garments.
Siriano was also lauded for his contribution to the safety of frontline workers during the Covid-19 pandemic; he and his team shipped over one million masks at the pandemic's height in 2020 to health workers in the New York state.
While the "Project Runway" winner-turned-mentor continued making a positive impact with his talents – and having dressed many stars like Billy Porter, Beyonce, Ariana Grande, and Michelle Obama – he hasn't been too quiet about his love life.

Before making it official with his current beau, Kyle Smith, the designer had been married to musician and producer Brad Walsh since 2016. They separated almost two years later, and Siriano moved on to his new lover just months after the split was publicly confirmed.
Yet despite the new relationship, he and Walsh stayed legally married for another four years before he petitioned for their divorce. After his and Smith's debut on social media, the two were regularly seen in public together. Still, they admitted to being homebodies who enjoy each other's company indoors.
Smith and Siriano haven't announced any plans for marriage – something Siriano said he wasn't even thinking about following his split from Walsh – but they continuously flaunt their love for each other on social media.
Christian Siriano's Partner Kyle Smith Is Also a Fashion Designer
Smith's fashion sense has been said to complement Siriano's flamboyance. In October 2018, he attended the Misshapes Halloween Party as a Greek god. Siriano posed alongside him, matching Smith's gold wreath crown with an extravagant golden peacock feather crown.
The design icon also donned a golden armor-like ensemble with a fierce make-up look that included dangling chains across his face. Like Siriano, Smith is a fashion designer who owns an online brand, Future Lovers of Tomorrow, which caters to men's clothing and accessories.

He also shares a mutual friend with Siriano, actress Alicia Silverstone, who led the '90s classic "Clueless." Silverstone supported Siriano when he split from Walsh and extended that compassion to his current romance. The three attended a Broadway rendition of "Clueless" in NYC and got ready to grace the Oscars red carpet together in 2019.
Smith is an Ohio native and a brother to two siblings, one of whom tragically passed away in January 2012. His sister, Alexis Hope Smith, was 17 years old when she died in a car accident. He and his youngest sibling, Abby, visited her grave in 2019 to honor her memory.
Christian Siriano and Kyle Smith Have Been Together for 5 Years Already
Siriano and Smith are believed to have started dating in September 2018, when the couple went Instagram official with their romance. It was four months after Siriano's confirmed split from Walsh, which Walsh had announced in June of that year.
In the since-deleted post, Smith referred to his beau as "babe," where he celebrated and expressed his pride over the success of Siriano's New York Fashion Week show. A few months after the relationship debut, Siriano opened up about the "fun" Smith had brought into his love life, saying:
"It’s great. You know, just, like, fun. Fun love."
During his Bravo TV talk show "So Siriano," he also divulged that his ideal date night activities included "doing nothing" and simply binge-watching good shows, such as "Scandal" or "Emily in Paris," with his lover.
Still, the couple enjoyed "whirlwind" romantic dates in luxurious locations such as Paris and Greece. They also celebrated pride month together on the last weekend of June 2022, and Smith shared a loving birthday tribute to Siriano on November 18 that year.
Christian Siriano Doesn't Even Think About Remarrying after His Divorce from Brad Walsh
Though Smith swept Siriano off his feet soon after his split from Walsh, Siriano didn't have a second marriage on his cards or his mind. When US Weekly asked if he would remarry, he responded:
"Oh, my God, not even thinking about it."
Siriano and Walsh had dated from 2007 before getting engaged in 2013. They tied the knot in 2016 in an intimate outdoor ceremony in Danbury, Connecticut, where they were the only ones donning black. The former couple had told their 12 guests to wear white gowns, all of which were designed by Siriano.
They remained together until Walsh confirmed their split in June 2018 via an Instagram story. The musician – known for albums "Right Now" and "Antiglot" – and painter revealed that their separation occurred "a bit over a month" before his announcement.
Although his ex moved on publicly shortly after, he only filed for divorce in March 2021. Some outlets speculated on whether Siriano was making room for another marriage, but no announcements have been made in that regard.
The details of the legal dissolution of his and Walsh's marriage, including the possibility of a prenuptial agreement, were protected by New York state laws and remained unknown to the public. It's also unknown if Walsh moved on to someone new, but Siriano and Smith are still going strong.
