Ozzy Osbourne has been married to Sharon Osbourne for four decades, and he wants to renew their vows, seeing their recent years as a fresh start. Despite physical pain and difficulties, Ozzy is even determined to go the extra mile to get groceries for his cherished wife.
Sharon is a television personality known for the MTV reality series, "The Osbournes." Ozzy is an English musician and the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath.

Ozzy, 74, has been married to Sharon, 70, for 40 years. In June, the rock legend reportedly planned to renew his wedding vows to the renowned television personality.
Sharon returned to Los Angeles from London to be by her husband's side as he underwent major surgery to adjust the pins in his neck and spine, stemming from a serious ATV accident in 2003 and a subsequent fall several years later.
After that grueling surgery, Ozzy tweeted to update fans that he had returned home and was "recuperating comfortably." He thanked them for their warm wishes.
Going Grocery Shopping amid Health Issues
Ozzy was recently seen out in public looking frail, using a walking stick while purchasing groceries for himself and his wife. He had gone to a market near his home in Los Angeles to buy groceries for himself and Sharon, who had recently experienced a medical emergency while filming a paranormal TV show.
The millionaire musician is facing health issues, including difficulty walking, due to a fall in 2019 that exacerbated prior injuries from a bike accident in 2003. Additionally, he has been battling Parkinson's Disease.
His fall happened in the bathroom of his Los Angeles mansion, 16 years after a quad bike accident at his U.K. property left him with a broken neck.

The renowned musician struggled with a failed surgery in the past, causing him great pain. He was previously warned that he might be paralyzed for life.
After undergoing significant surgery and taking large amounts of pain medication, Ozzy is working towards getting his life back to normal with the support of his wife. He said it broke Sharon's heart to see him in such a state.
He has mentioned how difficult it has been to be unable to perform or tour for such a long time. Throughout his career, Ozzy's public image has been an authentic representation of his true self, marked by excessive drinking and prolonged drug abuse.
His substance use was so excessive that scientists studied his genetic makeup and found that he possessed certain Neanderthal variations that allowed him to tolerate high levels of substance intake.
Renewal of Vows
Ozzy and Sharon have been together for four decades. Within those years, the couple went through many challenges in their relationship, which included Ozzy's several health issues.
Sharon played a crucial role in helping Ozzy maintain his overall well-being and was a major factor in his decision to quit his unhealthy habits, such as excessive alcohol consumption. If it was not for Sharon, Ozzy said, "I'd be dead."
The renowned musician has also been open and honest about his health struggles, including his diagnosis of Parkinson's disease and multiple spinal surgeries.

Ozzy was one of the sought-after musicians in the late 1970s and one of the notable stars who earned millions for creating timeless songs. He has recently stayed out of the public eye because of his health problems.
Even though his health illnesses have been challenging, Ozzy was determined to continue and celebrate his and Sharon's long marriage. A close friend of the two said that Ozzy wanted to do something special for Sharon on their 40th wedding anniversary.

The close friend added that Ozzy hoped to bring Sharon back to Maui, Hawaii, where they first exchanged vows in July 1982. The rock star also hoped that his recovery from the surgery would be short so that he could treat his wife. The friend added:
"Ozzy may have gone through the mill in recent years, but his spirit and desire to show Sharon how much their love burns bright remains."
Even though there were rumors that Ozzy had been allegedly unfaithful to Sharon, the couple, who had been together for a long time, renewed their vows in Las Vegas in 2017, and Ozzy considered it their "actual wedding day."
Looking back on his renewed marriage to Sharon six years ago, Ozzy believed it was a fresh start. He lovingly remarked, "Sharon and I have been through so much, and this honestly feels like a new beginning."
Sharon is Ozzy's second wife. Before Sharon, the metal rock legend was married to his first wife, Thelma Riley, with whom he tied the knot in 1971.

During his marriage to Thelma, Ozzy adopted Elliot, Thelma's son from a previous relationship. Ozzy and Thelma welcomed two children of their own, Jessica, born in 1972, and Louis, born in 1975.
While married to Thelma, Ozzy had been familiar with the then-18-year-old Sharon in 1970 since her father managed his Black Sabbath band at the time. He and Sharon maintained a friendly relationship, but things between them turned romantic in 1979.
Ozzy ultimately divorced Thelma, and he eventually married Sharon. Sharon gave birth to their three children in two years: daughters Aimee in 1983, Kelly in 1984, and son Jack in 1985.
Kelly, Aimee, and Jack followed in their parents' footsteps in the entertainment industry. They famously appeared with their mother and father in the MTV reality show "The Osbournes," which shows their day-to-day lives as a celebrity family.
Ozzy and his beautiful wife are now savoring their new responsibilities as grandparents in their ever-growing family. Despite their challenges and hardships, Ozzy remains committed to making his remarkable marriage with Sharon a priority.
