Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch Are Both WWE Stars and They Are Married

WWE superstars Seth Rolins and Becky Lynch are a wrestling power couple who tied the knot in 2021. They welcomed their daughter, Roux Lopez, two years prior, a birth that checks off one of the female superstar's dreams.

Wrestling is not only a sport that challenges fit and tough-built athletes; many overlook the fact that they are also among the highest-paid athletes in the world. WWE, in particular, has a roster of famous superstars, including WWE champions Seth Rollins and his wife, Becky Lynch.

The pair became recognized as a couple in 2019, and since then, they have grown from strength to strength, unifying in marriage and parenthood. They moved to Moline, Illinois, in what was an eventful year for them. Their daughter was born on December 4, 2019, about a year and a half before their wedding.

"He Was the Person That I Wanted to Have Kids With"

After a creatively obvious hint at marrying his fellow WEE colleague on his Instagram story, Seth married Becky on June 29, 2021. The Instagram story was a picture of Becky seemingly working out in the sun, backgrounded by an ocean view, with a caption that read, "seems like a fine day to (finally) get married."

WWE confirmed their marriage which occurred six months after the birth of their daughter and only child, Roux. It did not take Becky long to discover that the two-time WWE champion was the man she wanted to have children with. The Irish professional wrestler spoke highly of the man she married, saying:

"When we got together, things started to look a lot clearer, and I knew he was the person that I wanted to have kids with — that this was going to happen, and it was just a matter of when."

Becky praised the WWE superstar's intelligence, saying he is one of the most intelligent people she knows. She continued her praise of the athlete, revealing that he is not only an extremely hard worker but also one of the kindest and most generous people she knows.

She continued to praise his willingness to learn and grow as a person. This desire to improve and correct himself has made him a better person for Becky and, subsequently, an ideal father to their daughter, Roux. For the record, Seth's real name, Colby Daniel Lopez, answers all the questions about his daughter's presumably mismatched last name.

On Starting a Family: "You Never Know When You're Going to Be Ready"

In 2020, Becky suspected she was pregnant and bought several pregnancy tests to clarify whether her suspicion was correct, all of which resulted negatively. Driven by her instincts and dissatisfaction with the pregnancy test results, she then pursued the purchase of a digital test.

The digital test confirmed that she was pregnant, complimenting the athlete's determination to trust her instincts. Despite the certainty that fueled her prolonged testing, her husband revealed that she was aghast by the results. On the other hand, Seth was overjoyed by the news of his impending fatherhood.

The WWE star divulged that his excitement drove him to throw his hands in the air and noted, "It's one of those things where you never know when you're going to be ready for something like that, but as soon as it happened, I was like, 'Yeah, I'm ready to go, man. Let's do this thing.'"

After confirming her pregnancy, the 35-year-old returned to WWE, breaking the news to a live crowd, and renounced her WWE Raw Women's Championship belt to Japanese contender Asuka. Becky felt she had tunnel vision in her career and always wanted to fulfill her dream of being a mother.

Becky is one of WWE's most recognizable and opulent female wrestlers. Her reign transcended the ring and got her cast in the sitcom about the college days of Hollywood superstar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, "Young Rock." Her husband is also an actor who starred alongside Wesley Snipes in "Armed Response."
