While speculation surrounds the identity of Danielle Deadwyler's reported husband, she has known the father of her son, Reggie Haslam Jr., since 2009 and called him her "life partner."

Despite being a well-known actress on-screen, Danielle rarely shares much about her life off-screen. So much so that few people know of her love life and that she is a mother.

While it is unclear if Danielle is currently married, she apparently did walk down the aisle once before and maintained a relationship with her son's father, Reggie Haslam Jr., as the two spend time together and gush about their son.

Reggie Haslam Jr. Is Part of the Family Business

Reggie was born in June 1981 to Reggie Haslam Sr. and is one of three children. He attended Westlake High School before enrolling at Morehouse College from 1999 until 2004 and obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management.

Reggie also graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles Anderson School of Business, Management Development Program. He landed a job as an executive in 2007 before joining the Haslam family business, Vectour Group, in 2008.

Led by Reggie and his father, the transportation company has a history that dates back 40 years and has worked with the likes of the Jackson 5 and Olympic athletes.

As the President and CEO of the family business, Reggie has gained a knack for operation insight with over 15 years of experience in high-profile transportation projects:

"Reggie's management experience includes work on 2 Olympic Games (Vancouver- 2010 and London- 2012), 3 Democratic National Conventions (Denver- 2008, Charlotte- 2012, Milwaukee-2020), and many other mega transportation programs."

Outside of his professional life, Reggie takes to social media to document moments with his siblings and his son, including vacations to tropical islands.

While it has been reported that Danielle has been married before, it is unclear when she tied the knot and if she is still a married woman. In 2015, she attended a music and performative art festival in Atlanta as a married woman, but Reggie cannot be seen wearing a wedding ring in his Instagram pictures.

Danielle's relationship with Reggie dates back to 2008, when they were photographed in a group picture together. They posed for a photo together again in 2009, the same year their son, Ezra, was born.

In 2016, they were each other's dates to a UNICEF event where Danielle called Reggie her "life (partner)." The pair also share the same city of Atlanta, Georgia, but it is unknown if they are currently in a relationship.

However, in 2013, Reggie mentioned the "Till" actress in an Instagram post in honor of their son's 4th birthday. In the caption of the snap of their son, Reggie wrote:

"Words can't describe how much I love this little boy. I thank God every day for blessing Danielle and I with such an incredible son."

They were the picture-perfect family again in 2017 when the two parents joined each other to celebrate their son's 8th birthday in New York. The family of three spent their night viewing art and shared a host of pictures of the celebratory evening.

Danielle moved back to her hometown of Atlanta to raise her son around family in 2017. In 2019 Ezra and his mother joined Angelina Joelie, Will Smith, and Meryl Streep on a long list of actors to feature in films with their children after he shared the silver screen with his mother in the movie, "The Devil to Pay."

He inherited his mother's passion for acting as he sat through ten rounds of her six-minute-long monologues, listening and reacting, while on the film set.

While Ezra was not too young to kickstart his acting career, he was also not too young to have hard-hitting conversations about the world with his mother, who said, "I have to have that conversation amongst other conversations about what it means to be black in America."

Ezra also impressed his father with his growth at ten years old. Reggie took to social media to post a photo dump of his son in 2019 and detailed how in awe he was of Ezra's developing personality.
