Mira Pak Used to Be Terrence Howard's Wife - Now She Is His Fiancée Again
Mira Pak is a successful restaurateur, writer, and producer. Over the past decade, she has been married, divorced, had two children, and got engaged again to Terrence Howard.
Since getting involved with Mira Pak, Terrence Howard has toned down his image as a Hollywood hothead that is difficult to work with.
The actor has been accused, and in one case charged, with domestic violence by two of his previous wives and had separate incidents of violent alterations in a restaurant and airplane.

Terrence Approached Mira in a Restaurant
Even Hollywood stars like Howard uses pick-up lines, only he did not direct the line at Pak, but rather towards her lunch companion. The restaurateur was having lunch with a former boss at a Los Angeles eatery when the "Hustle & Flow" star came up to their table.
He told her former employer that he didn't know if they were together, "but she's absolutely stunning." Pak, the "she" he was referring to, commented on his bold move, to which he smoothly replied, "Well, only a tiger can approach a tiger."
Three weeks after that meeting, they got married. The pair wore wedding bands when they attended the "The Best Man Holiday" premiere in Los Angeles on December 5, 2013.

Born in June 1977 in Canada, Pak is a graduate of New York University. After college, she was a model at an auto show and posed for a Vanity Fair campaign. The NYU alum created a Japanese hotpot restaurant in Santa Ana, Shabu Shabu.
During a moment alone with a Rolling Stone journalist doing an in-depth profile on her partner, Pak got candid about the relationship. She said the two had an "amazing connection," but he did not "lift a finger" around the house, hardly ever goes out with her to restaurants, and never gives her gifts:
“I probably leave him 30 times a month. He’s so selfish. But, you know, he didn’t have much of a childhood.”

At the time of the article in 2015, the pair was living in a penthouse in his hometown of Chicago. Due to the high alimony, he had to pay his second wife, Michelle Ghent, the famous actor who was "broke," and Pak, who he said "had done well for herself," was funding their lifestyle.
In December 2018, Howard proposed to Pak with a 7-carat VVS diamond.
She admitted to having developed a light form of agoraphobia, feeling like Rapunzel stuck in the penthouse with their baby in a city where she never went out or had friends.
After Their Separation, Terrence Howard Proposed for the Second Time
In Ashanti's music video for "Foolish," the actor portrays a man she keeps returning to despite knowing he is no good for her. Howard had remarried his first wife, Lori Howard, with whom he has two children, but their second attempt at matrimony also ended in the divorce court.
While the Rolling Stone journalist was writing up the interview that he did with Pak and Howard, it came out that she had filed for divorce in March 2015, stating in the court filing that they had not lived together since August 2014.
To complicate the timeline, the couple had their first child in May 2015. However, by May 2016, the couple has reconciled, attending an "Empire" red-carpet together, Pak debuting her baby bump.
In December 2018, Howard proposed to Pak with a 7-carat VVS diamond set in rose gold that he had commissioned from jeweler Ben Baller. She was wiping away tears as the actor slipped the impressive rock on her finger during a dinner with family and friends at Crustacean Beverly Hills.
In the eighth season of "Family Feud" hosted by Steve Harvey, the couple went up against Rob Lowe and his family. This is the restaurateur's only on-screen credit, as she works primarily behind the scenes.
The mother of two created and executive-produced the 2018 TV special "Terrence Howard's Fright Club." She is credited as one of the writers of "Skeletons in the Closet," a horror-thriller starring her husband.
The actor posted a video titled "Terrence Howard and his abuse" on Instagram on January 15, 2023. In the artfully shot clip, a stoic silent Terrence looks directly at the camera, gently reacting as his voiceover gives an elaborate apology without context:
“I want to apologize for having to show, to expose the greatest moment of cowardness that I have ever experienced or excised in my life. I want to apologize to the people that I love.”
The star continued that he wanted to "ahead of time because I don't want you to think less of me." The pre-apology is likely for a new project.

Mira Has 2 Children with Terrence Howard
While going through their divorce, Pak gave birth to her first son with Terrence Howard, Qirin Love, on May 15, 2015. Howard tweeted the news of their second son's birth in August 2016 with a sweet photo of Qirin holding the newborn Hero. In a follow-up tweet, he said:
"What else is there beyond the love of family (sic). This is where God was born!"
Howard has three children with his first wife, Aubrey, Hunter, and Heaven Howard. He was charged with beating Lori in front of their children. His second wife also accused the actor of domestic violence.
In July 2022, King Oyo of Tooro and Her Majesty the Queen Mother hosted the actor and Pak in Uganda. The king "blessed" the pair with Ugandan names, which the actor did not share; he said they were "extremely pleased to have this opportunity to immerse ourselves in this culture."
