Gina Carano's Boyfriends: She Once Dated Superman and a Kickboxing Star

Gina Carano's boyfriend is a former Bellator Kickboxing Featherweight champion she dated in the early 2000s. Their second shot at love comes after the actress' two-legged relationship with "The Witcher" lead actor, Henry Cavil.

Actress and Mixed Martial Arts athlete Gina Carano is now in the retirement years of her fighting career and is actively involved in Hollywood. As an actress, she is best known for "Haywire," "Fast & Furious 6," and "Deadpool." Carano's love life has a fragmented timeline which is strange but understandable knowing the facts.

After a controversial social media spiral in 2019 got her kicked out of the "Mandalorian" cast, Carano's relationship with the man who portrays Geralt of Rivia in "The Witcher" resurfaced as fresh news to many. Just like her relationship with the actor, Carano's relationship with her current beau came in two parts.

Gina Once Dated 'Superman'

Carano was once in a relationship with Henry Cavil, who plays the lead role in "Man of Steel" as Superman and in "The Witcher" as Geralt of Rivia. Their relationship had two spells between 2012 and 2014. The first leg of their relationship, which began in the fall of 2012, did not last long, resulting in their separation in June 2013.

A source close to Corano spoke about her relationship with Cavil and divulged that she is a complete firecracker who has finally combined with someone who can handle her. Contrary to the source's statement, Corano and Cavil split soon after.

However, they did not give up on the love they shared, reuniting in October, just four months after they put a halt to their relationship. The news of their relationship kind of went through a rerelease years later, gaining widespread acknowledgment after the mixed martial artist shared her widely rejected commentary on the 2020 election, the COVID-19 pandemic, and transgender people in 2019.

Her controversial Twitter spew had her contract with Disney cut and put her career in a spot of bother. Within all of the noise about her opinions, her relationship with Cavil resurfaced, leaving many fans astonished that the actor had dated someone with reportedly ill thoughts and ideologies.

At the time, Carano was cast in Disney's TV series, "Mandalorian," where she played post-Galactic Civil War mercenary Cara Dune. However, Disney disagreed with the controversial tweets and preferred to disassociate from the athlete-actress.

Her On-And-off Relationship with Kevin Ross Lasted for Years

Carano was previously involved in a somewhat long relationship with a fellow athlete, Kevin Ross. Their relationship began at the beginning of the 21st century and lasted for four years until they split. Their friendship prevailed as they remained friends for the ten years that followed, even while Carano dated Cavil.

In 2015, the mixed martial artist's relationship with Ross was revived on their 14th anniversary since they had become acquainted in the 2000s. With that in mind, Carano and Ross' first attempt at a romantic relationship began in 2001.

Ross is a Muay Thai athlete crowned the Bellator Kickboxing Featherweight champion earlier in his fighting career. His accomplishments include winning the Super Lightweight WBC International championship in the 140 lb. category and the US Muay Thai Federation's Welterweight championship in the 147 lb. category.

One of his landmark moments was when he was voted the Muay Thai North American Fighter of the year in 2010. He is still active as a professional fighter and does his training at the Combat Sports Academy, based in Dublin, California. Ross spoke very highly about the Carano when he broke the news about their reunion, saying:

"Gina is not only the reason I'm even doing what I am but literally the reason that I'm even alive and walking around still. You are my inspiration, my best friend, my everything!!!"

The news of their reunion came after Ross posted a photo of himself sharing an intimate moment with his once-again lover on Instagram. The caption also revealed that they had been secretly dating for six months. Like Carano, Jennifer Lopez has also rekindled her eventful relationship with actor Ben Affleck.
