Flynn Earl Jones Became a Voiceover Artist like His Father Yet Stays Out of the Spotlight
Flynn Earl Jones is James Earl Jones's son, and even though he is the child of a celebrity and even followed in his father's footsteps, he prefers to live a private life away from the media.
James Earl Jones has been described as one of the most versatile actors in America. With a career spanning over seven decades, he has performed in film, television, and theater. He is among the few celebrities who have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony (EGOT).
Besides being in front of the camera, he has also lent his unique voice to a few projects. The actor has had a successful career out of being a voice-over actor, and his only son took after him.

Flynn Followed in His Father's Footsteps
Flynn was born in 1982, the same year his parents married. It was also almost three years after they met. His father had met his mother, Cecilia Hart, in 1979 when they co-starred in the police procedural series "Paris."
When his parents decided to get married because his mother was white, his grandmother was worried. His grandmother and father had the following discussion:
"'What about the children? You're a black man, and my daughter's a white woman.' I said, 'You know what? My children are gonna be black either way. What you're worried about is your grandchildren.'"

Like his father, Flynn has made a great career in the voicing industry. He has narrated several works on audible, including "Heartthrob," "A Pure Solar World," "Frozen Earth," "Lions of the Sky," "Revenge," "New Worlds," "Rift," and more.
The voice-over artist has also worked with his father as a personal assistant. While working with his father, he sometimes served him tea, among other duties.

Flynn's Private Life Is Out of the Spotlight
Flynn does not have any social media as he prefers to live privately away from the celebrity life and the media fuss. However, he sometimes appears on the red carpets to support his famous father.
In 1994, he attended the premiere of "The Lion King," a movie where his father voiced the role of Mufasa. In 2009, he went with his parents to attend the premiere of "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" in London.
The play featured other stars like Sanaa Lathan, Adrian Lester, Nina Sosanya, and Phylicia Rashad as its main cast. Three years later, he followed his parents to the Marion Anderson Award Gala, where his father received the Marian Anderson Award.

Interestingly, Flynn already had his moment on stage before he was born. While his mother was pregnant, she played Desdemona in William Shakespeare's play "Othello," while his father played Othello.
In 2018, the producers of the drama thriller "Warning Shot" specially thanked him in the credits. Even though he is working at what he loves, there is very little information about him in public.
Regarding his personal life, he is reportedly married to Lorena Monagas. She is also a voice actor and a stage and screen actor. They married on November 29, 2019, in New York.

Both Flynn's Parents Were Famous Actors
Flynn's father is not the only famous person in their family; his mother was also an actress and was once nominated for the 1977 Drama Desk Award for her role in "Dirty Linen & New-Found-Land."
Unfortunately, James Earl Jones, who recently celebrated his 92nd birthday, lost his wife to ovarian cancer on October 16, 2016. She died at 68 and had battled cancer for one year.
Flynn's mother was his second wife, as he was married to actress Julienne Marie for four years before their divorce. His first marriage did not produce any children, and after his second wife died, there was no news of him remarrying.
