Lisa Marie Presley's traumatized daughters were unable to say their farewell speech.
Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of legendary musician Elvis Presley and his wife, Priscilla, passed away suddenly two weeks ago after going into cardiac arrest at the home she shared with her ex-husband.
The world has mourned Lisa Marie's loss since then, and recently, many of them gathered to pay their respects to her. However, not all family members were able to pay their respects verbally.
On Sunday, fans gathered at Graceland in Memphis to lay flowers at Lisa Marie's grave and attended the service held under the trees at her childhood home, where she lived with her father as she grew up.
Lisa Marie's mother, Priscilla, was the only family member who made a speech at the service. Talking to the crowd, she emotionally said:
"I'm going to read something that my granddaughter wrote for all of you. And it says it all."

She went on to read a poem that Lisa Marie's daughter, Riley, wrote for her mother. However, none of Lisa Marie's daughters could speak at the service because they were allegedly traumatized by their mother's death.
Riley's poem spoke of how she viewed her mother, saying she was an old soul and was full of life as she grew up and raised her own family. Riley also spoke of losing her brother and said her mother suffered "survivor's guilt."
The poem also mentions the impact Lisa Marie had on every person she met. Riley also wrote about her mother having had so little time on earth but being at peace with that fact. She said missed her mother with love, and her soul was always with her. "Our heart is broken," Priscilla concluded.

Lisa Marie was laid to rest in Graceland's meditation garden, next to her father and her late son. Lisa Marie's grandparents have also been laid to rest in that garden, which is available for public viewing.
Lisa Marie's Three Daughters Couldn't Pay Tribute to Their Mother because of Their Emotions
Apart from Priscilla reading a poem Riley had written, Riley's husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, read a letter she had written to her mother. He read:
"I remember everything. I remember you giving me baths as a baby, and I remember you driving me in my car seat listening to Aretha Franklin."
The letter went on to mention that Riley remembered much of the time she spent with her mother, down to the minor details. She said she even remembered how her mother lay with her and her siblings as they fell asleep each night.
Riley also talked about how her mother would pick her up from school and then take her for ice cream. The letter was tender and sweet despite the fact that it was not read by the original writer.
Reports have said that Lisa Marie's twin daughters were "traumatized" by their mother's death and had no plans to return to the home, where she went into full cardiac arrest before she passed away.
The girls, Finley and Harper, are 14 and have spent much time in the house since their mother died with their older sister and other family members. However, they don't want to live there any longer.
Finley and Harper's father, Michael Lockwood, lived with Lisa Marie and the twins in the home and has been taking care of legalities and other things that need to be done since Lisa Marie passed on.
The twins were not seen at Sunday's service for their mother. It is unclear whether or not they were there, and it is unknown whether or not they only attended the private family service earlier in the weekend.
Family and Celebrities Honored the Memory of Lisa Marie with Songs and Speeches
While the family had a private ceremony to honor Lisa Marie earlier in the weekend, fans and celebrities turned up in their dozens for her public memorial on Sunday. Many famous faces joined.
As the live stream procession was set to begin, Elvis' "He Touched Me" and then a duet that Lisa Marie and her father did together called "Where No One Stands Alone" played as the service was starting.
Lisa Marie's dear friend, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, turned up shortly before the Presley family arrived. She made a speech, saying she and Lisa Marie called one another "Sissy" and said what a wonderful friendship they had.
Jerry Schilling, a famous talent manager, recalled working with Lisa Marie when she was only eighteen. He said she asked him for a job and promised she would be responsible even if nobody thought she could be.

He joked that the pair agreed to meet at an exclusive place, "The Hamburger Hamlet," to discuss whether or not she could have a job with Schilling and what she would do for him. Schilling gave her the job.
Talking about what she did for him, he said she acted as a receptionist, but he could never say that in front of her. He joked:
"She became my secretary, and every time I would say that she would correct me and say, 'I'm your ASSISTANT!'"

The admission elicited chuckles from the crowd. Schilling and Ferguson were not the only two famous faces to attend the event; Austin Butler, who played "Elvis" in the new biopic, was there along with Kaia Gerber, Cindy Crawford's daughter.
Although she was not seen, reports mentioned Butler's sister attending the service, too. Lisa Marie was also honored with a song from a famous rocker in addition to the speeches.
Axl Rose performed the Guns N Roses song "November Rain" during her memorial service. Lisa Marie is missed by many and will be remembered for many years to come. Rest in peace, Lisa Marie.
