Away from the fame that comes with Freddie's career as a professional athlete, Chelsea has held her own. She has had quite a prosperous professional career, initially as a model and later as a real estate agent. Her work as a model saw her represent several prestigious brands, including Harley Davidson.

Nowadays, she divides much of her time between her work as a realtor, supporting her husband, and taking care of her family. Chelsea and Freddie share three children whom they are more than grateful to have after some complications in the past. The family can be spotted together at many of Freddie's games.

Chelsea Freeman Is a Former Bikini Model

It may not be surprising to many that Freddie Freeman's gorgeous wife had a relatively successful modeling career. Chelsea went into modeling while in college and used the funds gained from the profession to support her tertiary education.

According to her Model Mayhem profile, Chelsea began taking modeling gigs in 2010. She appeared in more than twenty photoshoots and competitions, modeling for a wide range of brands, including Nikko Entertainment and AXE. Chelsea also made it to the Top 3 in the bikini contest at the Spring Break Nationals.

Her short-lived time in the modeling industry ended in 2013 when she last took part in an event. It is reported that her parents' lack of support in that career led her to quit. Nevertheless, the blonde beauty currently boasts over 225k followers on Instagram, showing her continued popularity.

A change in careers after college has seen her dip into the real estate pool. Chelsea currently works as a realtor for Keller Williams Real Estate, where she services the Atlanta area. Some of the homes she sells run into millions of dollars in value.

Freddie and Chelsea Started Dating in College

Freddie, still in the early stages of his baseball career with the Braves, met Chelsea while she was still in college. The couple reportedly began their love story in roughly July 2011. Chelsea attended the University of Central Florida, and her husband studied at California State University, Fullerton, where he played college baseball.

A year of dating passed before the two lovebirds took their relationship to the next stage and moved in together. The couple's new home was Atlanta, where Freddie played professionally for the Braves. Chelsea settled in nicely and soon began her venture into real estate.

Another one-and-a-half years passed before Freddie gathered his strength and asked Chelsea to marry him. The announcement was made via Freddie's Twitter account on January 19, 2014. The post showed a photo of them kissing with a simple caption that revealed his successful proposal.

Freddie and Chelsea Freeman's Wedding Was on TV

Eleven months after that fateful day, Chelsea walked down the aisle. The wedding was held in Miami, Florida, at the St. Regis Bal Harbour. A camera crew was on hand to film the momentous occasion as Chelsea Goff (her maiden name) officially became Chelsea Freeman.

Some parts of the lavish wedding were later featured in an episode of "Say Yes to the Dress," a TLC television series that follows the process of picking the perfect wedding dress at Kleinfeld Bridal in Manhattan. Therefore, the focus of that show was mainly on the wedding dress worn by Chelsea on their special day.

The wedding was a fun-filled affair attended by friends and family of the bride and groom. Also present were baseball players Chipper Jones (and his fiancee) and Jason Heyward, Freddie's former Braves teammates. Internet personality and model Amanda Cerny also graced the occasion.

Chelsea Freeman Struggled to Get Pregnant a Second Time

Chelsea and Freddie wished to have a big family so their children would have many siblings to play with, help and love while growing up. When they decided to start their family, getting pregnant for the first time was easy for the Freemans. Chelsea quickly became pregnant and gave birth to Charlie.

During Charlie's delivery, the process was disrupted by several complications after she had an emergency cesarean section. Freddie believed those problems contributed to their future struggles with getting pregnant.

Chelsea believed having a second child would go smoothly, but after a year-and-a-half of trying, the couple decided to devise other plans to get their much sought-after second child. The disappointed couple went through various tests with fertility doctors seeking to find a solution.

More months passed without luck, and their biggest hope was to use a surrogate. However, nine days before the embryo transfer, Chelsea got pregnant naturally. Nevertheless, they went through with the surrogacy process and added two more children to their family in 2021.

Freddie Freeman's Wife Is Thrilled That Her Husband Is a Champion

2021 proved to be one of the most extraordinary years for the Freeman family. After getting a massive win in their personal lives with the birth of the twins (who are not really twins), Brandon and Maximus, the new family of five, received more great news before the end of that year.

On November 2, Freddie, alongside Austin Riley, became a champion after helping the Atlanta Braves win the World Series, defeating the Houston Astros. That was a momentous occasion, not just for the team and its fans, but for the Freemans, after Freddie had stuck it out with the team even when the results were not coming for so many years.

After the win in the Astros' backyard at the Minute Maid Stadium, Chelsea spoke to Fox News 5 Atlanta. During the interview, she expressed joy that her husband had won the prized accolade.

She said the victory was made even sweeter by the struggles faced by Freddie in his personal life and as a team member of the Braves. The proud wife looked ready to party all night to celebrate the outstanding achievement and was delighted that her children's grandparents were in town and could babysit.
