Marian Mapother Is Affiliated with Scientology & Has Built a Career as a Realtor

Marian Mapother is one of Tom Cruise's three sisters whose heart wasn't set on making a career in movies. Despite sharing her brother's passion and determination, Marian decided to follow a different path in life and saw real estate as her one true calling.

Marian Mapother is Tom Cruise's sister and was born to parents Mary Lee Mapother and Thomas Cruise Mapother III. Her mother, Mary Lee, was a special education teacher, while her father, Thomas, was an electrical engineer. Marian is one of four children whose parents were both from Louisville, Kentucky.

Unlike her brother, who is one of the highest-paid actors in the world and one of the top 100 movie stars of all time, Marian didn't pursue a career in movies. Instead, she chose another field of her liking where she found immense success and happiness.

Marian Has Lived and Worked in Florida for 20 Years

Also known as Marian Henry Clearwater, she has worked as a realtor with more than 18 years of experience in the field. Based in Florida for more than two decades, Marian has dealt with both commercial and residential real estate. She often shares glimpses from her life on Instagram.

Marian and her two sisters were said to have purchased apartments on the third, fourth, and fifth floors.

In addition to being in the real estate arena, she spends time championing various charitable projects. For instance, in December 2022, she donated toys to a children's foster home in Tampa and shared a lovely photo on her Facebook page.

Earlier, in July 2022, Marian Mapother took a trip to Ireland with her friends to support a foundation for a drug-free world and called it a fun experience.

Marian's Connection to Scientology

Like their famous relative Tom, Marian, her sisters, their partners, and their children are staunch supporters of the Church of Scientology. Marian's son, Cal Henry, and his wife identify as Scientologists, just like their extended family members and friends.

According to a family friend, Marian and her sisters reportedly took a tour of a property in an affluent village near a Scientology School called Greenfields, right next to Saint Hill, when they last considered moving to England. The block was located just outside the town and offered privacy to its Scientology residents.

Before considering their relocation to England, Tom's family moved to Clearwater, Florida, in 2018, when the actor sold his $13 million Los Angeles home. The house was once considered his Scientology retreat, and he lived there with his mom, Marian, and his other sisters.

Afterward, the A-lister's family moved into a lavish Scientology building in Clearwater, featuring his two-story penthouse. Marian and her two sisters were said to have purchased apartments on the third, fourth, and fifth floors.

After Marian and her sisters were settled, her brother had the second and third floors earmarked for his adopted children, Isabella and Connor Cruise, with his ex Nicole Kidman. Sources revealed that the actor moved his sisters to the luxury apartment block to keep them close to the Church.

The "Mission Impossible" star reportedly turned his penthouse into a fortress and moved in, joining his sisters Cass Capazorio, Lee Anne Mapother, and Marian Mapother.

Marion's Son Is a Professional Musician

Marion is extremely close to her family and was the only one out of all her siblings spotted with her mother during her last public appearance. In May 2016, Mary Lee, then 79, enjoyed a family boat trip where her two other daughters, Lee Ann and Cass, were missing.

Even her beloved son and Hollywood heartthrob Tom Cruise missed the excursion; however, Marion, her son Cal, his wife, and Connor were present. Marion's son, Cal, is a musician and lead guitarist at WD-Han in Clearwater, Florida. He often shares music-inspired content on social media and is active on LinkedIn.

Marion is also close to her daughter-in-law, Marjorye, and wished her on her birthday with a touching post. Although Marian continues to support the Church of Scientology, like her star brother, and maintains close bonds with her family, she has no plans of leaving her career as a realtor.
