Kimberly Fey Is Donnie Wahlberg’s 1st Wife & Now Thrives as a Realtor
Kimberly Fey may have become famous for being Donnie Wahlberg's first wife, but she has established a reputation for herself as a successful sound engineer. In addition, she is also a recording artist and recently ventured into real estate.
She reportedly met her now ex-husband when he had hired her. He wanted her to work on an album for his band, New Kids on the Block. Their work meeting then turned into a romantic relationship.
They kept their relationship private until 1991, when they decided to go public with their love. The couple dated for eight years before getting married on August 22, 1999.

Kimberly Fey Became a Young Mom while Her Husband Struggled with Personal Issues
Kimberly had started dating her ex-husband in her early 20s. Two years after they went public with their relationship, the couple welcomed their first son, Xavier Alexander Wahlberg, on March 4, 1993.
When their son was born, her ex-husband was only 23, and he was dealing with personal issues. However, the birth of their son helped him put his life together.
According to the singer, songwriter, actor, and producer, his existence was focused on his son and his ability to be a provider as a young father, which was terrifying.
However, he also realized that he would never be perfect and became aware that he was not afraid to fail but was more afraid to be his best. His realization helped him overcome his fears.
Six years after becoming first-time parents, the couple tied the knot. On August 20, 2001, they welcomed their second son, Elijah Hendrix Wahlberg.
Around the period they married, the actor left his family for some time to prepare for his role as Vincent Grey in "The Sixth Sense." The movie was a psychological thriller that featured Bruce Willis, Mischa Barton, Haley Joel Osment, and others.

He needed to become emaciated for his role, so he decided to isolate himself in an apartment and not use his credit cards. The actor starved himself and worked out rigorously to shed some pounds.
He would go for weeks without showering, did not take care of himself, and became a loner. The actor was trying to suffer the only way he could. He said:
"I was so hungry. I was depressed. I cut off my life to get ready for the role."
