Jack Doesn't Want His Dad to Come To His School

Jack has a special bond with his father, as seen on several occasions where the pair have been spotted together. The two are huge football fans, and most of the time, they attend NFL games together.
While many children at school admire Jack and his sister Darby because of their dad's superhero status, Paul admitted that his children think he is the embarrassing parent. In an interview, the actor confessed that when Jack was 13, he didn't want him to go to his school because he made jokes that embarrassed Jack.

Jack Wasn't Impressed With Dad's Role Of Ant-Man
While Paul might be some kids' favorite superhero, his son Jack Sullivan Rudd doesn't think his father has what it takes to be an actual superhero. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jack's father revealed his son wasn't thrilled with his role in "Ant-Man" and said:
"When I told my own son that I was going to be in a super hero movie, he asked me what it was, and I said I was going to be playing Ant-Man, and he was not impressed."
Jack's father said he was surprised by his son's reaction when he responded that he couldn't wait to see how stupid the movie would be.

Jack's father's character is one of the few Marvel heroes to be a regular human who gains his power from wearing a special suit. The suit allowed him to decrease in size while maintaining his strength as a normal-sized adult.
Jack's father revealed that the character didn't seem easy as it appeared; he still had to endure a slight super-human workout routine to get into shape. In the movie, which is rated 7.3/10 on IMDB, Jack's father stars alongside Corey Stoll and Michael Douglas.

Since Jack spent time in the spotlight from a young age, the public has seen his growth from childhood and now as a teenager. While attending the 2021 Super Bowl, Jack, who was 14 at the time, made fans conclude he looked exactly like his dad.
In a photo that showed father and son having a twinning moment wearing NFL jerseys, fans were convinced that Jack was his father's lookalike. The pair share many features, from having the same eyebrow shape, smile, jaw, and even height.
That was one of the many events that Jack has accompanied his father. When Paul was getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, his son Jack, daughter Darby and his wife were present to witness the historic moment.

Paul's youngest child Darby was born in 2010. Like her elder brother Jack, Darby has also accompanied her celebrity father to several events. Jack's father said that when his daughter was born, her birth changed his life and impacted his career.
In 2018, he admitted that while playing the role of Ant-Man, he had a daughter named Cassie, and that was among his favorite parts in the movie. Paul said it was easy for him to relate with Cassie on-screen because he had built such a relationship with his daughter.

He told his daughter that as much as he played Cassie's dad in the movie, the little things he did were for her. Unlike Paul Rudd's son, who didn't like his father's "Ant-Man" role, his daughter is a much bigger fan of her father as a superhero and loved the movie.
The actor revealed that Darby was supportive, and she loved the part where he played a dad to a little girl and that, at times, she would draw pictures of "Ant-Man and the Wasp" for her father to keep.
