Honor Marie Warren is the spitting image of her mother, actress Jessica Alba, whom she thinks is "cringey." The pair have been actively navigating their relationship in therapy since Honor became a teenager.

Honor Marie Warren's mother, Jessica Alba, entered the Hollywood spotlight as a child, and her entertainment career has since spanned nearly three decades. The California native, born in Pomona, first appeared in the 1994 comedy adventure "Camp Nowhere."

Jessica starred in several commercials, independent films, and T.V. shows before leading as Max Guevera in the sci-fi mystery series "Dark Angel." She received worldwide recognition for the role and continued showcasing her range in films such as "Sin City" and "Fantastic Four."

Jessica excelled in her movie roles, but motherhood was the one she held most dearly. Having grown up in a family that "shut down" emotional expression, she wanted to ensure a healthy relationship with her first child and sought therapy for them both.

She became a wife and mother shortly after marrying her husband, producer Cash Warren, in the late 2000s. The couple welcomed three children, the eldest of whom recently graduated middle school and felt "betrayed" when she found out her mom was a Hollywood star.

Honor's parents met on the set of "Fantastic Four," which starred Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis, in the mid-2000s. They married during a spontaneous courthouse wedding on May 19, 2008, shortly before a doctor's appointment and a waffles date, as Jessica recalled:

"It was literally, 'Honey, do you have anything to do this morning?' And he was like, 'No.' So I said, 'Should we go to the courthouse and get married?' And he was like, 'Yeah.' And then I said, 'Can we get waffles afterwards because I have a doctor's appointment? Will you come to my doctor's appointment?'"

At the time, the actress was already nine months pregnant with Honor. She learned she was expecting the previous December and revealed Honor's gender in May. She welcomed the now-14-year-old in Los Angeles on June 7, 2008, and followed with her younger siblings Haven, 11, and Hayes, 5.

Honor Marie Felt "Betrayed" after Finding Out Her Mother Was Famous

Jessica recalled the humorous incident during her appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in January 2021, on an episode guest hosted by the late Stephen "tWitch" Boss.

Honor knew that Jessica worked at The Honest Company, which she and Cash co-founded. However, the then-first-grader was not aware that her mom was also an actress and model, so she was "mortified" when she found out through a friend in school.

When she returned home that same day, she demanded answers, and Jessica had to "break it to her," as she explained:

"So I had to break it to her that I was an actress and sometimes I do the magazines — and she felt so betrayed!"

Yet, despite now knowing her mom's Hollywood status, Honor and her sister, Haven, still thought she was "the definition of cringey." And much to Jessica's frustration, the two often teased her. She hilariously complained:

"They actually said that I should use the hashtag #CringeyMom. I'm like, 'That's so mean! There are so many more cringey moms than me, guys!' They're like, 'Even saying that, Mom, is cringey.'"

Honor Marie Is Already a Teenager and Is the Spitting Image of Her Famous Mother

This year will mark Honor's 15th birthday, and while she is her mother's lookalike, she is also taller. Jessica, along with her followers on social media, once noted their height difference in a lovely photo of the two (above) embracing and wearing coordinated outfits.

In 2019, she revealed she and Honor started therapy together. The 41-year-old wanted to learn to be "a better mother" and communicate more effectively with her daughter. Jessica, who also co-starred with Gabriel Union in "L.A.'s Finest," said she found much inspiration in "just talking" to her kids.

Two years later, she opened up about raising the now-teenage Honor during her appearance on "The Rachel Ray Show." Noting some of her challenges and lessons, Jessica admitted she didn't always get it right, saying:

"Here's the thing — you're gonna be wrong. They don't want you to even be right. And in fact, when they talk to you, they don't even really want to get your opinion, they just want to talk."

In September 2021, Jessica celebrated Honor's first day as an eighth grader as a "proud (and obviously crying) mama." The following year, in June, she took to Instagram to gush about the youngster's middle school graduation.
