Giséle Lynn Émé Rides Horses & Is Jeri Ryan’s Child with Christopher Émé

Giséle Lynn Émé is the teenage daughter of a chef and an actress—which her father hoped for her to be one day—who has shown her talent as an equestrian. Although she does not have social media, she appears on her parents' accounts, which documents her close relationship with her family.

Giséle was born in Los Angeles in 2008 to proud parents, chef Christopher Émé and actress Jeri Ryan, who announced the news of her birth via their representative. She came into the world weighing 7 lbs., 13 oz, and her mother's rep confirmed that Giséle's father had easily slipped into the role of a "proud new papa."

Although her father had hopes of Giséle following in her mother's footsteps and becoming an actress, he regularly takes to Instagram to gush about his daughter—who fans think has a striking resemblance to her mother—and all her accolades as a professional horse rider.

Although Giséle does not often appear in public with her parents, her father regularly takes to Instagram to gush about her accomplishments. In August 2021, Christopher shared a picture of him, Jeri, and Giséle, who was holding a bunch of multiple-colored ribbons.

In the caption, he revealed that Giséle had walked away with two first-place awards, two second-place awards, and the championship after competing in three-day horse-riding competitions. "So let's make a big clap for her and have a glass of champagne," he wrote.

In November, Christopher boasted about how proud he was when Giséle came in third during a derby, and in the caption, he wrote, "So proud of her." Giséle's craft left her with little time off, as her father posted a snap of her riding on a Sunday morning. He shared:

"...so lucky to have my daughter. Always smiling (that's my gene.)"

However, her father revealed that he enjoyed spending Sunday mornings watching his daughter train. Giséle's success as an equestrian comes at a very young age, as her father celebrated her last days in the 8th year in 2022.

She spent her summer vacation in France with her father before starting school in the 9th year. "Enjoying every moment with my daughter," Christopher wrote in an Instagram caption when he posted a photo of him and Giséle at the beach.

Aside from professional horse riding, Giséle also plays the violin and has played the classical instrument since she was a little girl. In 2018, her father shared a picture of a ten-year-old Giséle practicing the violin and captioned the post, "Practice time."

Before Giséle was born, her father admitted to wanting her to be an actress just like her mother. However, Giséle's mom objected.

Ryan revealed she could "never wish an actress' life on anyone." While speaking about the busy schedule of an actress, especially amidst the writer's strike in Hollywood, Ryan said:

"It's terrible to say, but selfishly, the timing [of the strike] couldn't have been better because I was cooked — my schedule was killing me, and I needed this break desperately."

Like her father, Giséle's mom also shares pictures of her on Instagram, giving a glimpse of the growing teenager, who they believe looks just like her mother. "She's so like her mommy, beautiful photo," one user wrote after Christopher posted a picture of him and Giséle at the beach.

In January, Ryan shared a family picture in honor of the new year, and one person typed, "Your daughter is the image of you." Another shared,"... by the way, good God, does your daughter look like you."

However, while she might look like her mother, Giséle has proven to be a daddy's girl. In 2021, Giséle's dad shared a picture of them on Father's Day and shared that he was grateful to have her in his life, followed by a snap of them enjoying a Christman lunch date.

In March 2022, Giséle and her father spent more quality time in honor of her 14th birthday, and in 2019, they both wore smiles as Giséle visited her father at work.

Before Giséle was born, her mother— who co-starred alongside Patrick Stewart in "Star Trek: Picard"—welcomed her older brother, Alex, during a previous marriage. Although her mother was worried about how Alex would adjust to her marriage, she revealed:

"He's been asking for an older brother or sister for years."

Since Giséle's birth, her mom shared that her brother has been "so cute." All while Giséle has enjoyed everybody doting on her as the youngest, she doted on the family dog Lulu.
