Axl Rose Was Not Ready for Children & Then Almost Started a Family with Erin Everly

Axl Rose is best known as the lead vocalist of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses. Even though Rose has had a successful music career for over three decades, fans want to know more about his life and who Axl Rose's children are, if any.

In 1989, Rose revealed he didn't want to have children because he didn't have time for them due to his demanding career. Now that the musician is in his 60s and the band doesn't perform as often as in the 80s, Rose has yet to start a family.

But back in the 90s, Rose almost started a family after he married Erin Everly. Unfortunately, she suffered a miscarriage. When Everly learned she was expecting a baby with Rose, she was excited because she thought the baby would change him.

She said Rose's excitement turned into anger, and he kicked her out of their apartment and threatened to take the baby.

When Everly suffered a miscarriage at three months, she claimed Rose didn't support her, and she had to sell her Jeep to cater for the medical expenses. The pair finally broke up, and their marriage was annulled in January 1991.

In 1989 during an interview, Rose was asked how he would feel if his son brought him a specific music album. Rose then said he didn't want children because he couldn't give them enough time, but he explained if he had a son, he would like the boy to share everything with him.

At the time of the interview, Rose was in a relationship with Everly. They met in 1986 at a party in L.A, and it was Everly's first relationship—she dreamt of being a wife and having a man who wanted a family. Everly was an aspiring model, and Rose was a struggling musician.

Soon after they met, the pair began living together. Since Rose wasn't financially stable, Everly would earn money from modeling and pay rent for their Hollywood apartment. Everly and Rose had a rocky relationship, and despite all her sacrifices, things never got better.

She revealed how Rose mistreated and abused her emotionally and physically; at one point, she was hospitalized. Despite several warnings from Everly's family and friends to leave Rose, she still stayed with him, hoping he would change.

But in the end, she finally gathered the courage to walk out of her troubled marriage. A few years after their divorce, Everly sued Rose for doing heinous acts to her.

Axl Rose's Childhood Was Not a Rosy One

Rose had a troubled childhood. Even before his birth, his mother's pregnancy was denied. In an interview, he revealed how his father was physically and emotionally abusive to him and his mother.

Despite going through so much trauma as a child, Rose tried to break the cycle. He began going to therapy and working on himself.

Also, he began working with organizations that help children who have gone through similar experiences. When Rose was in a relationship with Stephanie Seymour, he spent most of his time with her son Dylan teaching him different values.
