Gwyneth Paltrow & Chris Martin Are ‘Uncoupling’ Goals as She Calls Him ‘Sweetest Father’ in Birthday Post
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have consciously become model co-parents. The "Iron Man" actress wished her ex, "the sweetest father and friend," a happy birthday on Instagram on March 2, 2023, ending the tribute with "we love you."
In the birthday post, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's heads are touching as they smile for a selfie. Author Jen Pastiloff commented: "You inspire me as I go through my divorce," while another fan praised the exes' relationship, saying it says a lot about them that they stayed friends.
The co-parents coined a new term for divorce with their 2014 "conscious uncoupling" news. The divorce went through after two years. Six years later, "The Talented Mr. Ripley" actress disclosed that their relationship is much better as co-parents than a married couple.
Gwyneth Paltrow's Co-Parenting with the Singer Is Not as Easy as It Looks
Their two children, Apple and Moses, are beloved remnants of their 13-year marriage. Paltrow told Drew Barrymore on her talk show that they committed to prioritizing their children, which was "harder than it looks" because one does not always want around an ex.
Paltrow reportedly helped the pair reconcile.
The Goop founder explained, "You're ending a marriage, but you are still in a family." She said they have ups and downs, but it's worth pursuing "love and unity" for the kids' sake.
The Former Couple Are Now Happy in Different Relationships
Paltrow was in a new relationship months after the split from Martin with the co-creator of "Glee," Brad Falchuk, becoming Insta official on September 2015. The actress had a guest-starring part on "Glee" back in 2010 and again in 2014.
Ryan Murphy is very proud to have set up the pair. The couple had a Hamptons wedding on September 29, 2019. They have an unconventional but loving relationship, only moving together in January 2020.

Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin's LA sushi date in October 2017 put their relationship on the radar; they met through a mutual friend. Paltrow reportedly helped the pair reconcile when they briefly split during the summer of 2019; she "adores" the "Fifty Shades" star.
Martin gave his girlfriend tech support during a January 2022 virtual Sundance Film Festival Q&A for her film "Cha Cha Real Smooth." Johnson loves touring with Coldplay when she's in between projects. She directed Coldplay's music video for "Cry Cry Cry."
