Ronnie Coleman’s Wife Susan Williamson Is a Personal Trainer
Susan Williamson, Ronnie Coleman's wife, has been a constant source of support for him throughout his stardom, career, and parenthood. Her unwavering dedication includes waking up early each morning to prepare nourishing meals for her husband.
Susan Williamson is famous American bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman's second wife and personal trainer, who stood by him through the highs and lows of his success.
Coleman, a former policeman, gained international stardom when he won the Mr. Olympia crown in 1998 and held the title for eight consecutive years, earning him the moniker "The King."

Ronnie Coleman's Wife Met Him Through a Mutual Friend
Ronnie Coleman and Williamson first met through a mutual friend who invited Williamson to watch Coleman's show, "The Ronnie Coleman Classic." The friend told Williamson that they could meet the athlete afterward.
Williamson recalled that a large group joined in meeting the famous bodybuilder, but she and Coleman stayed up late and talked until five in the morning despite the crowd. Soon, they exchanged numbers and began dating.
After seven years of dating, the power couple tied the knot on April 11, 2016, with International Federation of Body Building professional Cory Matthews as the wedding officiant.
Coleman shared the news on Instagram that year and described their special occasion as one of the "greatest days of his life," as he married the greatest woman he had ever met.
His wife, Williamson, also took to social media to share the joyous news through captivating snapshots from their nuptials, which painted a vivid picture of a day marked by love, laughter, and the promise of a shared future. Amidst the tender moments, she playfully recounted a hilarious episode during Coleman's vows that left everyone in stitches.
On their seventh wedding anniversary, Williamson's husband paid her a heartwarming tribute to mark the significant milestone. Alongside a sweet caption was a stunning photo of the couple elegantly dressed, ready for a celebration.
Revealing their plans for the special day, Coleman said they were stepping out for dinner, followed by the screening of the 2023 action film "Creed III," which stars Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors.
Like Coleman, Williamson is a fitness enthusiast who works as a personal trainer. Despite having similar interests, Coleman admitted in 2019 that they sometimes train separately because he prefers to do so.
Another reason Coleman prefers to train alone is due to the difference in body type between himself and his wife. Coleman pointed out that his wife is more petite than he is, so she can only lift lighter weights.
Since then, Williamson has expanded her physical training knowledge and established herself as a "life guru." On X (formerly Twitter), the wife of the bodybuilding legend describes herself as a personal trainer.
On her Instagram, Williamson invites her followers into the special moments that shape her world. From heartwarming snapshots of cherished moments spent with her children to her workout sessions with her iconic husband, Ronnie Coleman's wife captures the essence of a life in constant motion.
Her instagram account, which reveals layers of a life well lived, is now soaring past 3,000 followers and at least 475 posts as of this writing.
Williamson had two children from previous relationships, and Coleman has four children, so the longtime couple is no stranger to parenting. Little is known about the duo's other kids, but they have welcomed four daughters together, named Laila, Sophie, Susie, and Lola. Although Laila and Sophie's interests are not publicly known, Susie and Lola are good at figure skating.
The couple has supported the two girls' interests and even joined them at their ice skating practices. Between the two kids, Coleman said Susie is now a national-level competitor.
Williamson's unwavering devotion to their family is something that Coleman has nothing but respect for, and she never complains and continues to do it out of love.
Ronnie Coleman's Wife Says He Is Perfect to Her
Although Coleman has faced health challenges, Williamson still views him as the perfect man because they give each other the freedom to pursue their interests. She said:
"[Be]cause he does what he wants to do and I do what I want to do, and at the end of the day we come home together and we all have a family time. We don't get in each other's way. At the same time we work together."
The bodybuilding star reportedly had two hip replacements and tried different methods to relieve chronic pain from damaged intervertebral discs. It caused a major reduction in his mobility, and at just 58 years old, he now uses a wheelchair for long-distance travel.

Coleman retired from bodybuilding because of his condition but did not give up his passion entirely. Instead, he started his own supplement company, the Ronnie Coleman Signature Series, which he launched in 2011.
Coleman frequently travels for business while his wife stays home with their children. Williamson explained that the situation has been challenging for their daughters because they miss their father.
Nonetheless, the doting mother understands their situation and said they are fortunate to have access to technology that allows them to stay in touch with him regularly.
Susan Williamson speaks highly of her husband. In a touching happy birthday post she shared in 2016, she painted a vivid picture of the man she holds dear to her heart. Her words expressed her genuine affection and profound appreciation.
In the post, Ronnie Coleman's wife described him as a man with a "kind heart" and a "smart mind." She went on to refer to Coleman as a "man sent for all time," acknowledging how she is blessed to share a life with him.
As Williamson extended her birthday wishes to her husband, her words conveyed a deep sense of gratitude for the partnership they've forged—a union that she described as strong as steel.
Ronnie Says Susan Williamson Makes Him the 'Luckiest and Happiest Guy'
Williamson's unwavering devotion to their family is something that Coleman has nothing but respect for, and she never complains and continues to do it out of love.
The proud husband said one of his wife's kindest gestures is cooking food for him before heading to the gym at 4:30 in the morning. Later, she prepares their kids for their skating practice.

In 2020, on Mother's Day, Coleman dedicated a sweet Instagram post to his wife, expressing his gratitude for all she does for him and their family. He accompanied his tribute with a picture of Williamson holding two of their little daughters.
In his sweet message, Coleman referred to Williamson as the "greatest wife" in the world and admitted she makes him the "luckiest and happiest guy." He went on to express his immense gratitude for having four beautiful, wonderful, and intelligent daughters with Williamson. The bodybuilding champion also believes God couldn't have chosen a better woman for him to have these daughters with.
Coleman and Williamson's marriage is one of the most admired by fans. Like Coleman former athletes such as football star David Beckham and ice hockey player Mike Fischer have happy marriages with their wives, Victoria Beckham and Carrie Underwood, respectively.
