Tatum O'Neal Shares Throwback Picture of Her Daughter Emily McEnroe Who Grew up to Be Famous Herself

Like her mother—who enjoys sharing throwbacks of her daughter—Emily McEnroe pursued a career as an actress. However, she has maintained a low profile despite having a career in the public eye and two famous parents.

On March 2, 2023, Tatum shared a throwback picture of her and her daughter. The mother and daughter wore straight faces in the black and white, vintage-style photo that Tatus captioned, "My daughter."

Although Emily rarely stepped out with her famous parents, her mother often took to social media to share pictures of her daughter over the years, including a snap of a baby Emily dressed in a white robe and glancing at the camera over her shoulder.

In 2019, Emily was all grown up as she posed for a picture with her mother, who affectionately leaned into her while the mother-daughter duo enjoyed a meal at The Capital Grille. Tatum captioned the post, "My darling beauty daughter @emily_mcenroe family is everything to me!!"

Emily Grew up to Become Famous Herself

The daughter of famous tennis player John McEnroe and the "The Scoundrel's Wife"— co-starring Lacey Chabert—actress, Emily was born in Los Angeles, California, on May 10, 1991. She followed in her mother's footsteps and kickstarted a career in acting when she landed a role in "Futra Days" and "McEnroe" in 2022.

Despite a profession in front of the camera, Emily has steered clear of the spotlight over the years. In 2018, she made a rare public appearance with her mother when they attended the Best in Drag show benefiting Aid for AIDS at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.

While her mother showed some skin in a bold, one-sleeved dress, Emily was her opposite in an all-black outfit that matched her dark locks.

Emily Is Not the Only Child of Tatum O'Neal

Emily is the youngest of three siblings, and her first older brother, Kevin McEnroe, made a name for himself as a novelist. His novel, "Our Town," tells the story of his family's troubling past and struggle with addiction.

Emily's second older brother Sean is a fine art photographer and shared that while his parents had been through a lot, their mother was still loving. "My mom is all heart," he said.

All three siblings share a close relationship with their mother, and despite their father's demanding nature, he was a constant presence in Sean, Kevin, and Emily's lives.
