Al Roker’s Married Daughter Courtney Shares a Glimpse into Her Date Night with Husband

Al Roker was one proud father when his daughter Courtney Roker Laga tied the knot during a ceremony that included famous faces such as Hoda Kotb. Since becoming husband and wife, Courtney and her partner are approaching their second anniversary and gave fans a glimpse into their relationship.

Since marrying Wes Laga in 2021, Courtney has taken to Instagram to share snaps of the happily married couple. In March, Courtney shared a picture of them enjoying date night, and as Wes wore a dimpled smile, Courtney leaned in to take a big bite of the blue candyfloss in the forefront of the photo.

"Cotton candy as big as my head," Courtney captioned the Instagram post, which received nearly four hundred likes at the time of writing.

Courtney and Wes were joined by friends, family, and her father's NBC "Today" crew on their special day, which, according to guests, was a ball. She paired her sleeveless, v-neck white gown with a sparkly headband, and her husband opted for a classic black suit and tie look.

After sharing pictures from their first dance on Instagram, and Courtney joking shared that her husband's dance moves weren't half bad, and in the caption, she added:

"I celebrated my love for my husband and felt the love from everyone. My heart is filled with happiness and filled with joy."

Before his daughter's wedding day, the news anchor revealed that he suspected an engagement was on the horizon when Wes asked him to meet.

After securing a table at a local restaurant that they liked, Wes asked Courtney's father for her hand in marriage. "It was very nice," Al said. And without hesitation, he gave Wes his blessing.

Courtney, a culinary content manager and a recipe developer with over twenty thousand followers on Instagram at the time of writing and Wes, a drama teacher, actor, writer, director, and co-founder of a theater with almost three hundred followers on Instagram at the time of writing, enjoyed their honeymoon in Mexico.

Courtney shared pictures of their Spanish getaway before she took to Instagram to celebrate their first anniversary in June 2022. During their first year of marriage, about to be two, Al Roker's daughter has documented her and Wes' date night trips to the city to watch "Harry Potter" and gatherings with family on Christmas.
