Jaden Smith Rocks a Checkered Crop Top & Pants While Carrying Dollhouse Bag in Photos

Jaden Smith thanked Louis Vuitton on social media on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, for allowing him to carry an accessory based on its founder's home from where he created the first LV workshop.

"Summertime in Paris" rapper Jaden Smith wore a matching LV crop top jacket with a leather luggage tag hanging from its pocket, check trousers, and chunky shoes at Nicolas Ghesquière's LV Women's Fall-Winter 2023 fashion show at the Musée d'Orsay.

The rapper and designer took photos of the bag, reminiscent of a dollhouse, before Vincent van Gogh and Edouard Manet's paintings at the Paris, France, museum venue. He also posed with Ghesquière, the creative director of the LV women's division, praising him on "another amazing show."

Jaden Made a Bold Fashion Statement When He Wore Skirts

Jaden was one of the first to normalize skirts for men when he was signed to Louis Vuitton Women a few years ago. Jada Pinkett Smith said on "Red Table Talk" that Will Smith asked her if she spoke to their son about wearing a skirt, and she closed the conversation by replying in the affirmative.

The 24-year-old and his collaborators hope to set the trend in fashion with sustainable practices.

Jaden confirmed that empowering others to think outside the box and not be bullied for wearing what's considered women's wear in western society was only part of his motivation for signing on, stating: "I wore the skirt so I can look fly." He wore another skirt ensemble attending an LV runway show in October 2022.

Jaden Has His Own Clothing Line Promoting Cruelty-Free Fashion

"The Karate Kid" actor has a streetwear/skater brand, MSFTS, and his sister Willow Smith, former Disney star Moises Arias, and Téo Arias. The company moved its operations from Los Angeles to Milan in 2021. Jaden clarified the brand's radical change:

"That was a huge part of moving over to Italy: for sustainability and making sure the people making these clothes are getting paid the right amount of money and their health is being taken care of."

The 24-year-old and his collaborators hope to set the trend in fashion with sustainable practices, citing Tesla founder Elon Musk as inspiration for how his company impacted the motoring industry.

Jaden Smith said that before MSFTS was moved to Italy, they did not take the work as seriously as they do now but are still committed to their "reckless" design practices.
