Michael Franzese's Wife Camille Franzese Met Him at a Film Production Party
Michael Franzese's wife, Camille Franzese, became a part of his story in the 1980s. The pair, who lived different lives then, met at a film production party. And although many women fell head-over-heels for Michael, Camille's affection for him was yet to develop.
In 2020, Michael Franzese starred in the Netflix docu-series, "Fear City: New York vs The Mafia," where he revisited his old life in the crime world. The former mafia boss also delved into details about his personal life, including those about his wife, Camille Franzese, and their kids.
Camille became his second wife in 1984, as Michael had already been married before. She met her husband at 20 and welcomed four children with him, one of whom is a famous actress; however, Michael couldn't be present for a large part of their lives.
Michael Franzese's Wife Prefers Privacy
Camille has a social media presence but prefers to hide it behind privacy settings. She has a private Instagram account, and although her posts weren't available for public viewing at the time of writing, her bio indicated her familial values, which read:
"Christ follower [white heart emoji] wife to Michael Franzese, mother to 4 wonderful children, nanny to 2 amazing grandkids."
At the end of the bio, Camille linked another Instagram page called franzesefitnessfreaks, where her daughters are tagged in the page description. The franzesefitnessfreaks profile photo depicts them posing in a training center, sporting gym wear. Although this account is also private, it is likely an exclusive look into how the Franzese family stays in shape.
Michael Franzese Once Said His Wife Was Mistaken for His Daughter – She Looks Great
It was in 2019 when the couple traveled to Cabo, Mexico, to celebrate Camille's birthday. Michael shared the special day with his followers on Twitter, alongside a lovely photo of himself and Camille, writing:
"Celebrating my wife’s birthday in Cabo! People keep mistaking her for my daughter. She looks so terrific! LOL! Love you, my dear! 4 Ever & Always! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
In light of the 2021 New Year and the coronavirus pandemic, Michael penned a touching tribute on behalf of Camille and himself. Wishing all his followers a happy new year, he acknowledged how difficult 2020 was as Covid-19 forced the world to adapt to gruesome changes.
He expressed his hopes for some "return to normalcy" before concluding his note with the bible verse 2 Chronicles 7:14. That same year, in May, Michael wished his wife a Happy Mother's Day.
He reflected on a sermon he attended, which helped expand his appreciation for Camille. She once had to play the role of both parents to their children for eight years while he served his sentence. The following month, he enjoyed his 70th birthday with Camille and the rest of their family.
Michael's Wife Supported Him in Sharing His Life Story
In February 2020, Camille accompanied her husband to The Church of Apostles, where he shared his life story during the 2020 Life Imprint Dinner. They also talked about their love story, beginning with a young uninterested Camille who stood her husband up on their first five dates.
That was, at least, how Michael remembered it. Camille had traveled 3000 miles from home to be part of Michael's film as a dancer. She wanted to leave at some point, but the pair gradually developed a bond that eventually turned into romance, and the rest is history.
Michael and Camille Have a Big Family Together
Camille has a loving relationship with her children and has made a significant impact on their lives. Among them is actress Julia Franzese, who appeared in "The Muppets" alongside Amy Adams, Ken Jeong (father to Zooey Jeong) and Jason Segel.
In 2017, Julia wrote a heartfelt Mother's day tribute, saying she felt honored to have been Camille's daughter. In October 2021, she posted a photo of herself and Camille looking gorgeous in their swimwear while they enjoyed a boat ride.
Camille's daughters also inherited her fitness enthusiasm, as the mother of four frequently trains with them. In September 2021, she appeared in a thread of clips with her daughter, Miquelle, as they demonstrated leg day exercises.
