‘The Mandalorian’ Star Katee Sackhoff Shows off Tattoos Inspired by Her Daughter in Photo

Katee Sackhoff shared photos from her body art honoring her kid on March 9, 2023. Safe in the knowledge that she's "an awesome mom," unafraid of backlash; she included a clip from when they took their two-week-old to the tattoo shop.

As a new parent, Katee Sackhoff had G tattooed on her arm for her newborn's name. Her husband, Robin Gadsby, got the inspiration to build out their tattoos by adding something from their daughter's life annually. This year it's an airplane and a book.

Her writer hubby plans to have a full sleeve by the time their child is eighteen. She considers her ink a "literal map of important moments and people throughout" her life.

Katee and Robin's "hearts were full" with the birth of their daughter, Ginevra "Ginny" Grace Gadsby, on December 6, 2021. In the post a day before Christmas 2021, she wrote: "Someday we'll open up about her birth story and how beautiful it was, but for now, we're just going to keep that for us."

Robin was an assistant to the producer on "Another Life" in 2019, a series on which his wife was first on the call sheet.

In December 2022, she requested a plane and dishwasher (there's a snap of Ginny in the appliance) from Santa on behalf of her kid, and she asked for a helmet for the toddler. In the comments, fans of "The Mandalorian," in which she co-stars with Pedro Pascal, joked that she needs Mandalorian headgear.

The action star and Robin married in an intimate ceremony on October 2, 2021. The actress advised on IG two weeks on that you are set for life if you can find someone who "finds your brand of weird cute."
